This used to be my go to taco place in town however over the last year the quality has decreased in different areas:
The meat quality is lower. Very fatty and salty.
Very little and not fresh cilantro is used
My to go quesadilla fell apart when I opened the foil it came with and had practically no cheese except for at the center of the slices (see picture). The cheese that was in the quesadilla was very sparse and an odd unmelted consistency
The service has become very apathetic. I called to provide feedback, assuming I would not be offered a refund on anything because they are cash only and don’t provide receipts. In the past local restaurants have been responsive to feedback because they want to maintain their quality and keep their customers, but not here. The woman who answered cut me off and placed me on hold.
I would not recommend take out, but eating in would probably result in better quality food since you can walk it back to the counter if needed.
Their old vibrant atmosphere with music playing on the cd machine was great and their home made chips used to set them apart. Now the machine is gone. No music is playing. The family who works there seems to be anywhere else. And their chips seem storebought.
Best place for Mexican food. Always recommend alPastor anything. I personally recommend the super burrito.
Super nachos are also very good. Horchata and Jamaica are excellent.
The only negative to this place is that it is cash only make sure you bring cash and do not go to any other TAPATÍOS they don’t taste the same.
I usually call in my order on the way there and it’s always ready when I get there. Very tasty. Love the asada super burittos and pastor super tacos.
The food is always great but the employees are rude. There’s one young lady who’s always nice and attentive. All the other employees roll their eyes and walk away when you ask for something. The girl with the piercings that stands by the bags has been so rude every time I’ve ever seen her. She just walks away when you ask for something without saying yes or no I never know if I should wait for her to bring something or leave.
CASH ONLY ??????
It’s 2024 it’s not okay to make a restaurant cash only do a favor for your customers and get a debit credit machine it’s a huge inconvenience for everyone! Hope they’re honest on there taxes of how much profit they’re making which is very unlikely!
We tried this place as it was recommend to us by a friend. The rice is very tasty and the tacos are small but really good. I got the asada. You'll need to order about 4-6 to get full. Place is cash only with an ATM machine inside. Self serve chips salsa. Great taco spot.
Prices are competitive out there, I ordered a burrito about 10.99 and asked how big it was they it was a good size and drink. Overall good and they don't credit cards cash only, which not good.
Authentic Mexican food. Cash only ! Pastor Super burrito is delicious and filling. Don't forget to order Horchata !
