I showed up before they opened and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly! I ordered 6 tacos 3 Al pastor and 3 barbacoa! I also got a side of rice and a Torta. The food was amazing to say the least and I will definitely be back on the weekends to try some Menudo!
*Disclaimer: CASH ONLY* I 100% abide by this place, all my friends came here growing up as this was “the spot”. It still is and I’ve taken many people here and most people are between like it and love it. I, my sisters, and a couple friends are kind of addicted to the tacos here. I’ve tried most of the different types of tacos here and they’re all good, I just find myself always gravitating towards the carne asada as it’s my favorite in general, you can never go wrong there. The green and red salsa are both good. I almost always go green if I’m getting takeout if I’m dining in they give you both bottles and I’ll use both cuz I’m a little daring with that spicy red. The prices are decent it’s 2.50 a taco which is better than other places where they charge you an arm and a leg and once again we’re talking cash here no card. Since they share the lot with the citgo I always get my drinks there while they make the tacos. The atmosphere is nice in my opinion if you’re comfortable with it. I particularly like it because it reminds me of how places are in the country I’m from. Great people here and a must try if you want tacos and are in or around the area.
This place is a small food truck type of set-up and has only outdoor seating, they are cash only and have a limited menu w/ no vegetarian options. But the tacos(forgot to take pictures) and the torta were delicious! Pretty reasonably priced. Would definitely go again
Amazing tacos! I wish they were more centrally located in Downtown Dade City. It wasn’t too busy during my visit, so the owner(s) were very hospitable and let me try a sample of their steak. I will definitely be coming back ????
Very good food. Made to order, so it takes a little time to get your food, but it's well worth it. Simple taco stand. No frills. Service with a smile. Popular with locals, Latinos and non Latinos alike. Right next to the Citgo station, where you can get beverages to go with your Mexican food if you don't care for horchata. Best of all, they roll their own tortillas
I live in Land O Lakes and this is my FAVORITE taco spot!!! I can't eat tacos from anywhere else!!! The steak, chorizo, and chicken are absolutely mouth watering. Great service, amazing food, and fast!! They never dissapoint!! Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic tacos made with love lol
I recently drove across the county and had to make this place one of my stops! I'd say what makes this place worth it is the quality of their recipes; that is, they keep it traditional. In doing this they managed to elate my taste buds at an affordable price. Remember folks pay in cash!
There is an actual whole in a wall in this convenience store. Inside they make fresh tortillas everyday and fresh meats that are so authentic and delicious; I’ll be coming back for more. The verde salsa they serve with the tacos packs a serious punch in flavor and spice, that pairs with every meat.
