I’ve eaten here a lot. The quality is up and down, depends on the day. I’ve had it be amazingly delicious one day 5/5 and kinda bad other days 2/5. Sometimes the beans are better than I’ve ever had other days theyre awful.
I was still going every week or so but they recently raised prices. *face palm*. I don’t think they’re gonna make it. They’re right next to a higher quality Mexican restaurant. The only saving Grace was that the prices were competitive but now they’re the same.
Obviously I’m going to go with the higher quality food for the same price.
Our visit to Taqueria Carlito 2 was absolutely amazing. As soon as we walked in, the friendly ambiance and helpful employees made us feel very comfortable. The menu had a wonderful selection of dishes, all made with fresh ingredients. We order from here weekly for our client's and it’s is one of their favorite places to eat. I highly suggest checking it out!
Taqueria Calito 2 has reopen in the Holiday Island Shopping Center where several other restaurants have been previously.
Nothing has changed with the interior, still a nice comfortably seating. This restaurant moved from the 62 West side of Berryville to this location a couple of months ago. I had the shrimp enchilada and was disappointed in the size of the shrimp and the even the taste. just not the same as other Mexican restaurants in the area, including the one at the Mo state line. My wife had the cheese enchilada and enjoyed it. The chips and hot sauce were the saving grace. I'm not sure we'll be back, especially since there El Mariachi just down the road. A much better Mexican restaurant in my opinion.
A very nice little restaurant in Holiday Island. Everything from chips and salsa to the Chorizo Burritos are fresh, tasty and ressonably priced. The folks are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

I have eaten a lot of Mexican food from living in Texas. They have fresh, thick salsa. Generous portions. Homemade beans. Quality cheeses. We eat there as much as we can. Plenty of parking. Please check this hidden gem out.UPDATE I FOUND NEW LOCATION IN HOLIDAY ISLAND,AR. STILL HAVE GREAT FOOD. WORTH THE DRIVE.
We were feeling the need for some Mexican food, and this place popped up nearby. I have to admit that they are not much for atmosphere here, but its not bad. The server was friendly, and the chips were fresh. All of our meals were tasty and filling. Some of the better Mexican we've had in a while, actually. I'd come back here.
