Best WLM Reviews
If I can give no star I would. It was hard for me to swallow my food from all the grease literally dripping from it. I read lots of good reviews and suddenly the urge to try it and the experience was not how I expected to be. I’m not sure if they’re racist or what but my food literally drips grease and I’m not over exaggerating this at all and I have pictures to prove my statement. I am ???? positive that this is my first and last time at this restaurant located in Marysville off of 136th st. Worst food ever!
Yummy food, great service. Platillo de birria ???? churros and fried ice cream ???? the pico was a little bland compared to how flavorful everything else was, but the salsas made up for it.
Absolutely the best tacos I've had in a very long time. I loved all the hot salsas they brought over too, they were the perfect addition to the tacos. My husband also really enjoyed his shrimp burrito. The ladies were super nice as well, and made a delicious margarita.
The customer service was pretty poor. It was our first time there and the lady at the counter ignored us. We had to figure out ourselves that you order at the counter and they send the food out. There's no other customer service after that. The price for the food and drinks are expensive for a style of service like this. This food was okay but for better customer service and prices, you can go to another Mexican Restaurant. We had wanted to try a different one, but we are sticking with our favorite Mexican restaurants in Marysville.
*FOOD POISONING*
I went here yesterday with my husband for a late takeout lunch, got the *special* it was a torta. Got home to eat and it wasn't even a usual torta bread, it was like a French bread. It was filled with a range of sketchy looking meat and a bunch of fat. My husband said hell no I'm not eating that, but I figured I'd give it a try. At 4am I was abruptly woken and running to the bathroom sick as a dog. That was the only thing I had ate and it definitely wasn't even fully digested even though it had been over 8hrs since eating it. I've been sick and puking since yesterday from that meal. $40 for two "tortas" and food poisoning, will not be going back!
Wonderful authentic Mexican cuisine. There were at least half a dozen tables, with 2 to 8 people at each one, and one waitress to serve us all. And she didn't speak English - which isn't a knock on her, but the bar tender had to come over to actually take our order. Once our order was taken, it came out in good time.
The taco shells were quite greasy and not at all crisp (just so you know) but the meat had great flavor. My camarones with onions & green peppers were really tasty, and the carne asada was also very tasty.
The four different salsas, I feel, were a real treat, three being different levels of spice and the green one with no spice.
I loved em all!
Viva Taqueria La Bamba! ????????
It was good, but I won't likely go back. Possibly for take out. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, it's very good. The service was lackluster, I got the impression that if you aren't buying drinks, they would get to when they could. It struck me odd a place will a full bar has no fountain drinks. I was told to pick from the cooler (that part is fine), but it's all glass bottles, and there is no opener in sight. I also had to ask for a to-go box 3 times.
My husband and I have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant. We found it!! But its dangerously too close to our house. Lol
The food was excellent!! We enjoyed every bite!!
The lady that took our order was so nice, she even offered her vest to put behind my daughters back while she sat in a high chair so she had better support while sitting.
My only complaint would be there was an other server, he was a male, he was walking around checking on tables and never bothered to come by our table. Which seemed odd, because it was a place we're you order and pay at the counter. Not a sit down and they wait on you.
But any how, we will be back! The food was amazing!!!!
