Had lunch here two days in a row because it has good food and it’s close to my work location and had dined there before. We had a large group of coworkers dinning in those two days about 8-9 of us. We all ate and enjoyed our meals and when it came time to pay the first day everything seemed fine until they ran my card and the price total increased. I asked why it didn’t match the detailed receipt and they informed me there was an additional 1.5% charge for credit cards. I did not like the fact that they don’t mention it before hand and just run your card, but I paid the total and tipped 20%.
The following day I was prepared for the 1.5% add on at the end but noticed the price was ridiculously high. When I started looking into the receipts details I notice in between the detailed items ordered there was field called “service charge” which was for the total of $52.50. As I inquired further into what this was for they told me it was gratuity. I asked them why it wasn’t at the bottom where gratuity is normally near the subtotal and tax area. They just told me they didn’t know. So that meant that I tipped them 20% the day before and they were going to get me again the following day. I did not accept these terms and I made them refund me the 20% I paid the day before and did not leave a tip the second day since it was already included. The point is they hid the gratuity and probably get a lot of customer to double tip and add an additional charge of 1.5% at the end without notifying the customer. This is very shady and I will never go back. I’d give them zero stars if I could for their shady business practices.
I've been enjoying the Durango for probably at least over 10 years. Enjoyed the consistency and good food that I get each and every time! A staple restaurant for me.
Salsas weren’t that good. Needed more spiciness. Tacos de pollo needed more salt and flavor. I asked cheese and they charge me $2.00 extra. Overall not that good. But service is quick and excellent. Prices were outdated on the menu.
I just ate here for the first time and I must say that I was impressed. I got the steak burrito with everything and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was evenly grilled and had a nice texture. The burrito skin was lightly seared as well adding to the overall taste and texture. My son got the steak tacos and loved them. I will definitely be going back.
I said no cheese . They still put cheese on my food .My mom has a severe allergy to dairy . They serve me dirty shrimp (not devine’s with shell shrimp) tacos. Didn’t want to give me my money back for the mistake they made. Manager RUDE and a liar. Bad customer service.Last time I would be here!
Tried this place out one afternoon. Our waitress and the staff were very nice. The chips and salsa weren’t that good, but my Torta de Asada and my Michelada were.
The tacos are good. The chips & salsa okay. Steak torta not good. There was too much bread, and not enough meat or anything else. It was dry, and did not have a taste at all.
Food is good. I ordered 3 steak tacos. A bit pricey but we are living in Bidens world where everything is expensive...
