Being fairly new to living in the area, we've been on a search for our new favorite Mexican food restaurant on the West side so we tried Tapatio on Saturday night. We enjoyed our drinks, as well as our food, but we were a little disappointed that our waitress never bothered to refill our sons soda or ask us if we wanted more drinks. I got this tasty drink (pictures below) called Paradise Punch & the Chile Verde, my husband got the 10 Barrell IPA (they were out of his first IPA choice) & pork carnitas , our teen ordered a soda, Diablo Wings & a side of fries. We were seated & served water right away, we got complimentary chips, salsa & beans, the waitress was friendly enough, our drinks/food was out quickly & they even gave us a tasty little dessert nacho when they brought us our check.
We'll definitely go back to try a few others things. While we were there we noticed they have a Sunday brunch buffet.....we might check that out someday too.
I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent dining experience at your establishment. To be honest, while the food was satisfactory, it didn't quite leave a lasting impression. However, I must express my disappointment with the quality of the drinks. It's evident that they are prepared with cheap alcohol, which significantly affects the overall experience.
As a patron who appreciates attention to detail and quality ingredients, I believe there's room for improvement in this aspect. I hope you consider this feedback constructively, as I genuinely value your establishment and would like to see it thrive.
A rare treasure, felt like home. I loved the decor and all the intricate tile work. SUPER large servings of delicious food. Kind and helpful staff. The chips were freshly made and the salsa options were all tasty! You gotta try it!
The food is so good if u want extra meat. u can ask them to give u more meat, and they give u a free dessert
Margarita comes in massive goblet and tastes like a sweet drink from a gas station with no alcohol content. Even added a second $6 shot and still couldn't taste any tequila. Paid $90 for awful food. We brought the birria home to feed to our dogs.
The food was pretty good. Burritos were a good size. As others have mentioned, getting charged for chips and salsa beyond the first basket is subpar, especially when you have a group. Service was not great as our server seemed to not particularly care to be there. When our check was brought to our table, it took our server 18 minutes to return to take our cards to pay the tab. When she returned. We asked if we could break up our bill since we had two parties. She said yes and left and came back with it split in half without the option to pay for our own items. Food was good, but probably will not return as there are much better restaurants in the area, and with the cost of the food, other places have a better value.
Loved the bean dip included with the table chips... Nice addition to a common staple and they were quite tasty! My wife had some excellent enchiladas and she thought the taco was amazing. Chili Verde was good. Service was excellent. Overall about 4.5 stars????
A great place to eat! The chips and salsa are delicious. You also get warm beans too. The meals come our fast and hot. Great drinks. All the food was delicious. We will definitely be eating here again.
