Obviously, there are a lot of Americanized Chinese food places out there. Tao Garden is not that, coming in with the delicious traditional Chinese food that will please those with a diverse palate. I would recommend coming here and trying something you've never tried before from a Chinese restaurant, you will be pleasantly surprised. Every dish was flavorful and came out on the perfect cadence. A large amount of rice came with our dishes and free refills of rice are available.
The service was great and everyone here was very friendly. For the amount of food you get, the prices are 100% reasonable and the food is worth every penny.
I will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu. Go to Tao Garden, and step outside the box of your typical dishes. You won't be disappointed!
Really good food at a reasonable price. That is why Tao Garden has such great reviews. The tofu that was used in the mapo tofu and hot & sour soup was very tender and made both dishes very light. The salty pepper shrimp was cooked just right. Overall the food is something that you find at a really good family restaurant, tasty dishes with well balanced flavors and quality ingredients that are not overly greasy. The menu is large and the service is fast. Definitely a place for wonderful home cooked meals!
Tao Garden delivers on authenticity and flavor. The salted fish chicken tofu clay pot is a standout, offering a complex interplay between saltiness and umami. The tofu absorbs the flavors perfectly, creating a balanced dish. If you're a fan of wok hei, the beef chow fun nails it. The smoky undertones permeate the tender beef and perfectly cooked rice noodles. The roast duck noodle soup is another highlight. The duck is juicy and flavorful, and the broth is rich without being overpowering. As for the stir-fried string beans, they're cooked just right with a satisfying crunch. The cooking techniques are true to Cantonese traditions, making this a must-visit for authentic Chinese cuisine in the greater Phoenix area.

Food is amazing, but the customer service is terrible. There was an old lady waitress who was being disrespectful, trying to tell us where we will sit, pointing her fingers, yelling, and assisted on a food item we did not order at all. It completely killed the mood for my family to eat there further. Very disappointed and will not return
Best place to eat Chinese food! The people there are so sweet everything's made fresh. They have a lunch special 7 days a week from 11:00 to 3:00. I even got my co-workers now to start ordering food from them. They gave you a lot of food for the price! ????
What wonderful friendly service! This place is the real deal. The food is great and the prices are outstanding. The portions are large. Try the lunch specials. So much food. So little money. I had the chicken friend rice. It was perfect. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming exterior. This gem is well worth the visit.
Mongolian beef is amazing!! Really want to get it a little spicier next time but it was perfect, yummy sauce.
