Have had the steak jibarito twice now as well as the yucca frita, pastelillo, maduros, papa rellana, bacalaito, tostones, arepa Colombiana, and passion fruit juice. Every item I’ve tried I would get again. Portions are huge and the food is spectacular. I’ve come with a group of colleagues from out of town several times and everyone enjoys all the food. I travel to this area often enough and it is my favorite restaurant in the area
The waitress was very friendly and made our first exchange great. Food taste great and authentic, I will be back.
The food was so so good! I live in Hyde park and typically have to travel to HP for PR food which sucks due to traffic. I happened to come across this place on Google. So glad I checked this place out. About a 20 min drive compared to 40 mins. And like I stated the food was so good, very flavorful authentic PR food and good portions for a decent price. We got the monfongo con lechon, Tania sandwiches and pastilitos. Highly recommend! The customer service was great as well. I will definitely be returning.

This food was soooo good! It came so close to my grandmas cooking and that’s saying something! This will forever be my go to spot when I’m in Chicago! I can’t stress enough how amazing and delicious this all came out! 100/10 recommend! ????????????????????????
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The food was incredible, the flavors were perfect and the food came out quickly. My boyfriend just came back from Puerto Rico and he said this food was better than the food in Puerto Rico! It’s that good! We drove here from Chicago just to try it and it was definitely worth the trip.
This place is the best. I love everything about it and regardless to my opinion I will continue to support this business every where they go. My only issue is the last 6 or 7 times I've ordered alcapurrias they are raw in the middle. Please fix it I love alcapurrias the most. God Bless!
