The shop is great and well managed. The owner, Brandi, is awesome and very friendly. The other stylists are also sweet and friendly. I highly recommend this salon!!
I had the truly wonderful and satisfying experience at Tangles salon in piedmont SC today . I went in the looking terrible with a mutilated hair cut ,bad roots and faded out hair . My hair stylist , Miss Stella Brooks made me feel at ease and was friendly, and down to earth , treated me very nice . Stella brought my hair back to life , my hair is now a beautiful vibrant bright red / orange ???? that's the way I like for it to be . It is awesome that she listened to me and fixed it exactly like I asked .that is a very important quality in a stylist ,willing to listen to the persons request !!! The cut ✂️ is beautiful and the color is amazing! STELLA, YOU ARE LIT ! THANK YOU TANGLES SALON AND STELLA BROOKS , I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER ABOUT MYSELF i recommend this stylist and salon to anyone!????????????????????????

Wanted someone who can do a short, layered cut. Was told "no problem"....????.
Not the worst haircut I've ever had ( in the top 2 though), the layers are REALLY choppy and looks nothing like the picture I showed her. Not that I expect to look exactly the same as a photo, but SOME resemblance would be appreciated.
Didn't get a shampoo first and my hair was barely sprayed damp before my 'cut'. I had more water running down my face than on my hair. So was half dry/half wet to cut. That's a FIRST!
Post cut....No trimming of neck hairs. No mirror to check the cut before leaving....for obvious reasons.
I feel like my stylist is probably inexperienced and seemed almost scared to cut my hair. She moved really slowly and just snipped at it. It was really odd. Not talkative, but friendly enough. When I left message to book an appt, I said that I wanted a short layered cut, someone great at short cuts. I asked again when stylist called me. "Yes, ma'am, no problem".
I'm really disappointed because reviews were great and I expected more.
Salon was clean, very nicely decorated and other stylists were friendly. That's where the positives end. I paid and tipped well, but will NOT be back.
Now to find someone to fix it!
I don't know why it's SO difficult to find a stylist that does a great job on short hair??!
Brandi is an awesome stylist. she will listen to what you want but will always recommend something if she thinks it wont suit you. She never wants anyone to look stupid. This salon is hers and she is always busy which obviously says something about her work. Great salon.
First visit and I loved my haircut!! Wanda was a pleasure to meet and she did a great job. Look forward to my next visit!!
