Food was great and service was fast. The pork bone soup was flavourful and spicy, and the meat fell right off the bone. The cold noodles were so refreshing but in my opinion could've been more sour (I added so much vinegar but it wasn't enough lol). They gave 4 side dishes, all of which were very tasty but the kimchi was so much spicier than I'm used to ???? overall we were all very satisfied.
Prices were super reasonable; under $20/person if you each get one entree. Even the soju here is considerably less expensive than you can get elsewhere ($13 if I remember correctly).
First time eating at a Korean restaurant and I’m obsessed!!! Soooo delicious and nutritious. We ordered the kimchi pancake to start which was delicious and perfectly crisp. My entree was the hot stone bimbimbap and my friends entree was the spicy beef soup. Both were very tasty. I love the diversity. Will be back to try other items on the menu.
Stopped by TangTangTang and was pleasantly surprised! The beef broth is flavorful and the Korean dishes on offer are extremely solid. Side dishes were a delightful treat and absolutely delicious. The ambiance sets the perfect vibe for a Friday evening hangout.
We were introduced to Tang Tang Tang a few years ago and love trying Korean for the first time. We didn't know how fortunate we were to have enjoying this restaurant, only to be told by one of our most dear friends who was born and raised in Korean that Tang Tang Tang had better Korean food than in SF and LA.
This place is always busy. Later in the evenings there is always a wait, and a popular place for locals.
With our guests in from out of town we went to Tang Tang Tang last night around 6pm and to our surprise were seated immediately.
Our guests ordered for the table and the food was highly praised and delicious. We love trying new things and learning the origins and history of each dish. We were even surprised to try things we would never order on our own only to discover we have been depriving ourselves of new experiences.
I love steam pork belly. I normally don’t eat pork belly but this one is magic. I love it. Been there twice. Will go back again next week.
In A Nutshell:
-TangTangTang is just an okay Korean restaurant.
-I've heard a lot of hype about this place, so my expectations were pretty high.
-I ordered their beef broth soup w/ ox tail, cartilage & bone.
-The soup is pretty small for the price.
-I've had better comparable soups & I wouldn't recommend eating here.
Overall, it's just an average Korean restaurant.
Nice family enjoy food great service good but for 1 star because restaurant including 20%top for party of 4 ppl with out notify on menu sign after have a conversation with the server she say that the owner making her do it 20% for party of four
Food is not quite good. They also charged a service fee without telling in advance.
