Delicious food, amazing flavours, and fantastic staff! We were served by Mohit who was very helpful and friendly. I have a nut allergy and they were very diligent in making sure I didn’t have problems. I highly recommend this place and its incredible food!
Love most of the food here. Came during buffet hours. The butter chicken was delicious. Vegetable Korma is still my favorite. The chana Masala was off. I've had it here before, and it was great, but this time, the spices were different. The buffet was pretty expensive, but you get so much variety that I still felt it was worth it.
Perfume in curry.
Food:
Navratna kurma and Palak Paneer was extremely bland and heavy on perfume.
Need to improve the flavor in curry.
Chana Masala was extremely tangy.
Bhatura was smelly and soaking in oil.
Naan and Dal were fantastic.
Jamun was also good.
Service:
Even though servers have no idea of Indian cuisine, their service was excellent. Very positive experience.
Ambience:
This place has bright lighting and feels very refreshing.
Most restaurants in Erie are dark and low lighting which can be depressing.
Might give this another try if they change their taste.
The waitresses was very friendly and patient as I had never had Indian cuisine or ordered before. The portions were very adequate,enough for you to eat a couple of times. The beverages are priced higher than most restaurants, I would say. The general price point was very reasonable. I will definitely return someday. The only thing I can say is don't be in a hurry,you will be waiting a while for your food.
Very delicious, i am editing my year old review as we visited again .. very welcoming staff. Buffet was well managed, everything was fresh , authentic indian flavor. Chole bhature, kaddi ???? ???? super tasty. Best indian restaurant in this area .. dal makhni, paneer was really good... must try..
I've eaten there before, and I truly enjoyed it. But I just found out they started a lunch buffet at the beginning of 2024! A couple of coworkers who didn't k ow what to order were convinced they should check out the buffet so they could get a better idea of what they like and know what to order next time. Watching people's eyes light up as they tasted something new and found it to be delicious was fun!
They have loads of vegetarian options if a bit limited on the buffet (but there is always a fruit and salad bar), so there is literally something for everyone.
Finish off your buffet visit with mango pudding! What a sweet treat! I'll definitely be back to enjoy the buffet now that I know they have it! As of mid-March 2024, their website lists it as 11-2, Monday through Saturday.
This is a fantastic place to enjoy authentic Indian food. The owner and staff are welcoming, patient, pleasant and so polite. The week day buffet is a little expensive when you consider what is offered. Mostly vegetables, 2 types of chicken and naan. There is also fruit and a dessert. On just one occasion the food at the buffet was just warm so it cooled off pretty fast. All in all, I highly recommend this place and we certainly keep going back!
THEY NO LONGER HAVE A BUFFET 3.5 star experience.
They had us seat ourselves, brought us menus, and gave us 2 glasses of warm city tap water with no ice. We waited 15 minutes for them to take our orders and never asked what we wanted to drink so we just had warm city water.
The food took 25 minutes to come out. My friend liked his lamb curry, but said it was too much of just 1 flavor with no palette cleanser. Naan doesn't come with the food so you have to order it and pay extra. We got garlic Naan which was very good, but not big enough for the price. The butter chicken was okay, I had 4 bites then didn't want anymore because it was very salty and rich with no palette cleanser with just warm water to drink which was gross. The rice was okay.
The music was literally the same songs again and again and again and again... we were stuck there a long time listening to the same things so it was annoying.
Staff were nice.
It needs updated inside.
