With so many bubble tea places, Tan Cha is our go-to for a more "dessert" like drink. Their cheese foam is better than other places (recommend an oolong tea + cheese foam). Their marble drinks have a good paste to milk ratio as well (recommend messy taro). They have unique taste profiles, with an extensive tea selection. Their fruit teas and smoothies are pretty refreshing. The boba has been cooked consistently well.
Tan-cha had some really unique flavored teas with foam toppings that added a flavorful boost to its drinks. I had the High Mountain Green Tea with cheese foam. The flavor was good but the cheese foam really made it a unique drink. The Uji Green Milk Tea with tiramisu foam was delicious and significantly better than the High Mountain.
The interior was trendy and well decorated making it a great location to meet up with friends or go on a quick date.
So far, this is my new best place for Bubble tea and light snacks in Doraville. They have a vegetarian option, fried tofu, with different sauces. Super delicious, well seasoned, perfectly cooked and crispy and fast service. I wish they had maybe two more vegetarian options that aren't soy-based (like fries or sesame balls). The chairs and seats are very comfortable and the space is inviting. I didn't test out if they have wifi, but it feels like a nice place to work for a couple hours if wifi is available. Staff is very nice and friendly. Pricing is reasonable. Snacks came out quick!
I got the cheesy-grape. Grape smoothie with cheese cream and lychee jelly. Perfect combo, well made, refreshing and flavorful.
The facility is clean and mostly wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms are clean, and spacious.
This may sound a little dramatic but I've never had a Roasted Oolong Milk Tea as exemplary as this one.
I've heard that Tan-Cha was really good, and this was my first time coming here with friends. Usually I tend to get flowery milk teas, so I ordered the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea, no foam, with boba, less ice and 30% sugar. The boba consistency was pretty chewy and the sugar level was perfect. The quality of the milk tea set this one apart from the rest of the Roasted Oolong Milk Teas I've had from other places. You can really taste the brewed oolong tea and it complimented the milk so well.
The interior is very clean with many tables to sit. I liked the assorted plants scattered inside. There's so many places for photo opportunities. Also there's a whole van inside where you can take pictures in. It's decorated really cute with lights hanging beside and on it, the car matches the whole aesthetic of the boba shop. The cashiers were very nice and I look forward to trying their other milk teas and foam.
im so very happy the tofu is back. i recommend all top three of their drinks. their drinks are great quality. the young man working recently is also very kind and hard working i really appreciate him! i changed my review because of all the improvements!
Very cute. Kinda hard to spot like the exhibition atl hub thing that’s literally across the street. They have a cute vw van inside. Very clean. Very white. Staff is quiet and sweet. This is a place is will go again. P.s. the uji matcha red bean drink is yummy. Not overpowering. Not too sweet. Very good.
The introvert in me is pleased.

And yes, don't forget to pick up dessert showel to enjoy the topping...
I discovered this place last year, and I have come back countless times since. This is my absolute favorite place for tea in Atlanta. The cheese foams are incredible - they have options for a tiramisu or regular cheese foam, and both are divine. They have a lightly salty sweet creamy flavor, and the tiramisu feels more dessert-like. I have brought all my friends here, and they have all been converted as well.
Additionally, they have light fried appetizer snacks. Delicious. I've tried only the popcorn chicken and the fried tofu, and they are both amazing. You have the option to choose between 3 flavorful sauces. I usually opt for the passion fruit.
Last thing is I want to shout out the little shovels you get with the drinks for scooping up the foam. They are so freaking cute, I'm obsessed.
