Tan Cang Newport Seafood Restaurant exceeded expectations with their lobster and stir noodle dish. The lobster was impeccably cooked, boasting freshness and tenderness. A perfect blend of flavors in the stir noodle complemented the dish, leaving us thoroughly satisfied.
The lobster is always a must try-dish. It’s live, full of meat. It’s well seasoned and famous for their special home sauce. The lobster is well cooked, fresh tasty, juicy, chunky and a bit of spiciness makes it more delicious. Normally it will pair with noodles, this time was alone and I order rice as my side dish. The smallest lobster was ca. 3lbs.
The crab in salty spicy sauce is super good too. The shell is thin, the crab meat is still fresh, soft.
Chè is free of charge till run out. It’s traditional chinese cooking style, less sweet and tender. I’m addictive to it, and always ask for it as my appetizer :)
Food was okay (not too excellent) and expensive. The most important thing is really bad service, was not happy at all. Will not come back.
What a experience. My Vietnamese friend invited me and I’m so grateful. Is the kind of restaurant you come with your family or a big group of friends and enjoy all authentics. Even this meat soup was so flavorful. I enjoy also ordering the coconut water. I can’t eat spicy and they were able to accommodate my request. But for my friends that love really spicy they enjoy.
I was surprise by the taste difference between 2 TAN CANG NEWPORT Restaurant in Orange County. The one at Bolsa/Ward was smaller but taste much better ! The service was nice, cook chief deserve 5 stars. Keep going guys!
I used to have dinner with my family and friends, lobster noodle and soups are our best favorites ever. They have all of quality, fresh ingredients.

The owner is very rude and unprofessional,
Be careful when ordering Crab or Lobster expensive but have only little meat and the very important is the food was terrible .
.. Ask them to weigh the Lobster or Crab in front of you so you don’t get fooled by them. Best to go somewhere else, I was so upset when I left, paid too much and the food have no taste , of course I will ever never go back.
