We've been here for lunch several times recently. It is not the nicest neighborhood, but it has been very good quality food and generous portions at a low cost. Quick and courteous, consistently good food. Great place for a lunch special or my wife's go-to enchilada plate.
We stumbled on Tampico Mexican purely by accident by being stuck in Everett while some issues were occurring on the i-5 to return to Canada and I am very glad that we found this little restaurant.
Food was absolutely amazing as it really reminded me of the quality when I was in Mexico City. Service was also impeccable! Some of the kindest folks I have met which made the experience all the while better. The restaurant is also clean and had an amazing quaint family owned vibe.

Frankly Tampico gets a ten because it is my childhood Mexican restaurant and I will always love it. The same folks have worked there as long as I can remember and are just great. The food is geared towards Americans so I appreciate the effort to meld. If I want more authentic Mexican I will probably hit a taco truck or other restaurant but most everything is good and your less adventurous friends will love it. Consistently good margaritas!
Best Mexican food this side of Broadway. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was excellent and ample amounts, even took some home. Very strongly suggested for some great tasting food! Parking might be the only issue with this location but even that was minor for the quality in my opinion.

I have lived about a mile away for 18 years, and tonight is the first time I went due to feeling like the area isn't good. I parked at Habitat for Humanity. The restaurant was extra clean, the food was very good, the staff was attentive yet brief and efficient, the food arrived very quickly and was very well prepared and of good quality.

It's not their fault the customers who come in are obnoxious but it takes away from the experience when a bunch of drunk people are screaming for no reason. Food was amazing as always.
