I stopped for lunch on a Tuesday at 1:30 pm and the place was so busy, I had to wait for the only table open to be wiped down. I was seated after a few minutes and the owner came right over and took my order.
This place doesn’t have a lot of ambiance, but it was clean and looked in good shape. There was a special menu by the cashier. The regular menu was half breakfast and half lunch/dinner. It was not a large menu, but everyone should find something. One thing for sure, this place is extremely reasonably priced. Everything on the menu was very reasonable.
I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. I was served my lunch after about a 5 min wait, which considering how busy it was, was faster than I expected.
Everything looked good. It was not the largest piece of steak, but you got way more than the price they charged. It was served with a hot buttered roll, which was soft and very tasty. The steak was tender, and the breading was very flavorful. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth. The gravy was not too thick, but just right.
I wish this place was close to my house, I would eat here all the time. I can’t wait to come back and try something different.
Had a great breakfast. We had the pancakes and the western omelette. Very good. Loved that the staff has "I'm not Tammy" on the backs of their shirts. Tammy did serve us and she was very sweet and welcoming!
Everything was delicious! The staff was helpful and friendly! The prices were so cheap. It has a true family feel. This restaurant is GEM! Places like this are getting harder and harder to find.
Tammy's is a nice place with a very homey and welcoming atmosphere. Tammy is a sweetheart and provides excellent service. The food is amazing. Some of the best cookin you'll get in Frankfort.
This is a great little diner that harkens back to those 50s type diners that used to dot our rural landscapes. The food is traditional southern, the coffee is good, and the atmosphere is comfortable.
This is a hidden treasure. The food was delicious and homemade. The service was fast and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience .
