Great and quick service. I did a spa pedi and a gel manicure with the young guy! I was very happy. Only comment is that the could keep the floor a little more clean.
I didn’t want to leave a bad review because I tried to just brush it off my shoulder and not let it bother me but not even a week later and my nails started to lift off and while in the shower one popped off on it’s own so it’s frustrating they didn’t even last a full week! The girl that did my nails was nice but she over did it on the acrylic and made them super thick. I believe that’s why they started to come off.I left unhappy with the way they looked but I didn’t wanna say anything because I felt bad since she was a nice girl. Trust the reviews, I thought I’d give it a shot but left disappointed like some of these other people leaving bad reviews :(
Went in yesterday with my daughters 5 and 8 that wanted pedicures done it was about 5:58 they close at 7pm. Doors were locked and guy was sitting on his phone on a pedicure chair he came and opened the door and said he was unable to do pedicures since he was the only one working? But closing time was not until 7pm. Just thought it was unprofessional to have doors closed when it’s not time to have closed ? ????
I love Tammy’s in Layton and decided to come here since it’s closer to me, but now I know just to make the drive.
Charged more than what I was told. Crooked. flat, with no apex and different lengths and shapes.The lady filed 2 of the nails shorter and laughed about it. After being there over 2 hours I was ready to go! My daughter’s mothers a day gift to me will sadly not last very long. EDIT: chipped after 2 days.
Called to see if I come in by 6:15 to get a fill and fix 1 nail that broke. The guy said yes you can come in. I said ok thank you I’ll be there by 6:15 he said we close at 7 and hung up. WOW really great way to keep customers. Especially after poor service before but gave them another chance. I can take my nails off and go somewhere else.
i got my nails done and the day after i take a good look at my nails and the paint is peeling off. the lady who did my nails was rushing and today i was in my phone and the thumb nail popped right off. i was patches at the top of my nails if the paint chipping off. i do not do anything ruff and my nails are looking like they are 3 weeks old when they are about 1 and about 3 days old. the service was not the best i felt like she was speeding up. i now have a missing nail. i will not be coming back and i know that.
I went in last Monday afternoon, the artist and workers were very nice but the woman who was doing my pedicure kept touching my toes with the UV light on my shellac pedicure. I kept pulling away my feet but she kept destroying the work by continuing to scoot the UV light closer to touch my nails. Everything else was great service other than the artist ruining their own work and my pedicure ending up like this. It's unfortunate to pay $36 (plus $5 tip) to have this as my final product.
I was trying to be nice I didn’t want to be rude and thought I could fix up the nails a bit at home afterward but i really just can’t explain how bad and lumpy these nails were. Dips like crazy and just shaped horribly. The people there were SO nice I don’t want to get anyone in trouble but maybe some more training could be done…. I shouldn’t have had to even have paid for nails like these honestly… and they said nails like this is like 60+ dollars…. but like I said I’m not trying to be mean but it’s just so bad. Is there nothing that can be done about this? I went somewhere else the next day and fixed them immediately. I’ve been to the first location and it’s great! This location is good too. I just think if your gonna practice then don’t charge me full price or at all… if you don’t know how to do long stiletto then just tell me no sorry I don’t know how to do it. Then I can find someone who does. I just feel like I wasted my time and money.
