Best WLM Reviews
The green tamales where really good, I wish they had the chicken and mole tamales since it's a Oxacan tamales place. Otherwise, it's just a green leaf tamale.
Great Tamales both green and Red, Quesadilla Chicharron prensado was amazing.
Place is small and building old but it is clean. It has about 4 table booths. We came to buy Tamales Oaxaqueños but they didn't have any. They have other food options but two other items that I asked for from menu not available. I ended ordering consomé & it was good. I think they can improve on their waiting skills and having all the food options offered on the menu.
Do I really need to explain what is about to happen.
The tamales and chilaquiles were so delicious! Definitely coming back for those perfectly steamed and seasoned tamales ???? the best I've had. Cute lil' diner atmosphere as well.
OMG! I have t even finished eating and I'm writing this review. It. Is. Delicious!
Ordered two tamales verdes and a quesadilla de asada. Perfectly spicy. Fabulous flavors.
I can't wait to go back on a weekend and try their weekend specials, particularly their consome de chivo ( goat stew)
I decided to try this place after reading a few reviews. My wife tried the tamales oaxaqueños and liked them so much we ended up buying 5 more to go. She also ordered the enchiladas de mole and they were good but a little spicy. I had the green chilaquiles with meat and they were great but too spicy. I made an effort and ate like more than half. Highly recommended. The place doesn't look like much and is small but the food is what you came for so get in and get some. Sorry, but I forgot to take pictures, but the portions are generous.
They have great tamales. Wrapped in banana leaves.
Tonight i missed the tamales but the quesadillas are the size of a dinner plate. And are delicious.
