I was so excited to be able to try the location after having food from the truck, and picking up tamale bakes from Local Source!
Everyone was so nice. This is a family run business and you are truly supporting sweet people!
The food is always fresh and delicious. There’s not a bad dish. They have outdoor seating and the indoor seating is very clean. This place is awesome. You can definitely recommend tamale queen to anyone and I guarantee they will love it. They were also super friendly to my 4 year old. They make you feel welcome and at home. Don’t skip the milkshakes either.
Beyond excited I found this spot. Food was amazing and fresh. Portions were generous and prices were extremely reasonable. Service from the cook, cashier, and owner was also great. Try this spot immediately!!!

WHAT A FIND! I was driving through Alabama on my way to NOLA from Cincinnati, OH, and needed to stop somewhere for lunch - I couldn't have stumbled upon a better place! Needless to say, the tamales are absolutely delicious, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and not only that, but everyone who works there is a delight. I felt so taken care of, I didn't want to leave! Next time I'm headed south, I know where I'll be stopping ;) Thanks Tamale Queen!!!
Tamale Queen was a hidden gem that I'm glad we found! Everyone was so nice and the food was amazing! Some of the best tacos I've ever had! Definitely recommended
This place is a hidden gem! My husband and I went today and got the Birria Tacos. The service was so fast and friendly, and the food was 10/10 amazing. We will be returning for sure!
