Best WLM Reviews

This little restaurant was fantastic. It's very small, but very charming. We had a group of about 16 so we did make a reservation, and we had to wait about 15 min for our table to be ready. Not a problem as it was 7:30 on a Saturday night and the place was packed. The menu isn't large, but it has just enough diverse options to choose from. The staff was excellent and attentive to our large group. We always had our waters refilled, beverages came promptly, food came quickly and together. Definitely would come back. It's perfect for a date night, night out, or a small gathering.
Great food and drinks! We have been wanting to try this place out for a while. The last time we tried they were closed for a private event so this was our first time here. Immediately when you walk in you get a cozy laid back feeling. In fact you get the cozy feeling when you drive in to the cute downtown Clarendon Hills area. Inside it is very quiet with very dim lighting. We were greeted by Jeff who was amazing. He seemed to be the only one working the floor but was a true professional, and funny to boot. We started with a delicious goat cheese dip that was perfect for 4 people. We each ordered different entrees so we could try each others. Each item - Mia's Meatloaf, Filet Sliders, Short Rib Grilled Cheese and the Chicken with Capers were amazing. We will definitely be back again.
I somehow had never stumbled across this place before, but we will definitely be going back. The twice baked potato fritters were indulgent, cheesy deliciousness. The spinach salad was a perfect summer dish, and the bacon-wrapped meatloaf with red pepper chutney is a must-try. Service was phenomenal (even on a night when the World Cup was on, and I'm sure everyone was ready to go home to watch) and the atmosphere was very cozy, perfect for a date or dinner with a few friends. The kitchen was closed before we got to dessert, but we will be going back earlier next time to get a chance at that croissant bread pudding ????
This place was just alright. We decided to try it since we were in the neighborhood. Although I did enjoy the ambiance there were many things lacking for a place at this price point. It wasn't super expensive but priced well enough that you expect a certain level of service. We were relieved to arrive before the dinner rush thinking that would mean we wouldn't have to wait too long for our food. We waited about 10 minutes for our flat-bread appetizer which isn't bad at all. But we did wait 40 minutes to get our actual entrees after that. I'm convinced the waiter forgot about us because two tables that arrived after us, with larger parties, got served before us. I ordered the salmon which came with a pesto risotto. The risotto literally had a thick film over it from "sitting" and the salmon was barely warm. My boyfriend's steak was barely warm and the fries that came with it were cold and hard. When asked how everything was by the waiter, I stated that the food was pretty cold and all he stated was "Really? That's strange. Can I get you a refill on your drinks?" I thought that was funny- The old 'let me change the subject' tactic. We love being regulars at places but we also like to try new places as well, and therefore, doubt we will ever come back.
The best restaurant in cozy Clarendon Hills. It's very family oriented and they have great specials through out the week. The food is delicious. The servers are very attentive and great. Isamar is our favorite server. She has great costumer service and she always managed to put a smile on our faces m
Awesome service! Owner is there most every night. Terrific entrees. Steaks, pasta, fish rival places that are much more stuffy. Chef created specials will blow you away!
Great cocktails, fairly priced wines.
Love love love Talley’s!!! Warm cozy atmosphere, incredible service and excellent food. Can’t go wrong with the scallops, salmon, steak or burger. The gnocchi and panko chicken are other family favorites. The bread pudding and giant warm cookie with ice cream are amazing.
love this place its has a small town feel with high end food. the flat bread pizza is perfect every time and fun cocktails. staff is consistent so its easy to get to know them and for them to get to know you!
