Such a good experience every time I have gone to this restaurant! The food is absolutely fantastic, the korma is rich and perfectly made. The owner always comes over to make sure the food is up to standard, and that each table is catered to. Overall you can tell how much care and quality this family puts into not only guest experience, but making sure you leave happy with everything you order!
Hadn't visited this place in a while. Fairly good ambience and good food. Seating was quick, the order was quick to place but the food delivery was glacially slow. The waiter did mention that things are prepared from scratch so it will be slow.
Lassi was in big bottles, so you get around 1.5 glass. Food had a good flavor.
only complain would be that there were belly dancers and their music was very loud. It was good entertainment but essentially couldn't hear anything else.
Taj Mahal is the best Indian food we have had in this area! They do a wonderful job with all of their dishes! It’s nice to actually get spicy Indian food when you ask for it to be “hot”! Often times at other places you ask for hot and it’s not very spicy.
All of the dishes we ordered were delicious and perfectly prepared! Note if you want delivery they do go through a third party like door dash. We ordered take out with Door dash and our food arrived piping hot and perfect!
Tasty Indian food. Medium is pretty spicy so if you don't eat spicy food normally you may want to go with mild. Very vegan friendly.
We are from Maui and were visiting Boise for our daughter's regional gymnastics contest. We loved the downtown and were happy to find there an amazing Indian restaurant, with absolutely delicious food. We are recommending TajMahal to everyone who wants to stop the time, sit and enjoy the finest meals. Enjoy!
We took our dinner here. Ambiance was too good, soothing giving Indian Boutique look. Mango lassi was very delicious,given in a flask type bottle. Although dishes were delicious but little spicy & oily. Quick service & friendly staff.
To eat, I got the Bengan Bharta. It was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet while still being able to taste the vegetables. It had strips of ginger that were super flavorful without overpowering the dish. To drink, I got the coconut chai which somehow tasted like marshmallows. 10/10.
Every time we come here we’re blown away at the flavors of all the dishes. The Pakistani influence is delightful and we always make sure to take a lot home for leftovers. We love the owners and service. Our fave restaurant in Boise.
