My partner and I opted to explore Indian cuisine for the first time at this establishment, guided by its top-ranking reviews on Google. Following recommendations from friends, we indulged in butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, pani puri, and samosas. Despite our initial uncertainty, the experience proved to be remarkably delightful. Particularly noteworthy was the exceptional level of customer service, with special appreciation extended to Kumal for his attentive care. We were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience, especially the outstanding customer service provided. Thank You Kumal!

This is an amazing, astonishing, excellent restaurant in Southridge. Very cozy, subtly decorated, providing a relaxing environment, and the food is so DAMN good! I had Indian food back in Hong Kong and in Ontario, but this place in such short time since they opened already has such high review scores, this tells you all. I wish I could give more stars than 5 stars! This is going to be a regular place for me and my family!
No exaggeration, the best Indian food I've ever had. I've had Indian food at dinner parties and a wedding and I WISH they had catered from here. Every bite was flavorful and delicious. I hate lamb, but the lamb kebab was delicious and tender. The karahi paneer was delightful and the sauce went with everything on the plate. The goat biryani was spiced perfectly with tender goat.
AMAZING FOOD and top-notch service. The workers were very friendly and attentive. They had smiles and were extremely polite. The food is also very affordable, especially considering how delicious it is. I'm only going here for Indian food from now on. It's unbelievable how tasty everything is. Not just one of the best Indian food I've had, but one of the best meals I've had recently.
Indian food at its best! Was looking for good Indian food and found the Taj Cafe. Service was excellent, and I was greeted right away. The guys behind the counter were very polite, courteous, and friendly. Ordered up some spicy butter chicken, some paneer tikka, and some garlic naan. Clean and spacious restaurant. Wait, was about 20 minutes for food to come out. One of the guys even offered me free tea while I waited... The food was superb, butter chicken was creamy, had plenty of chicken, and, nice spice. Paneer Tikka is also amazing. Great portion of cheese, and I loved the pickled onions with chilies. Chilies were even more spicy than the butter chicken itself... The garlic naan was not soft... This was the only thing I was kinda let down on. Other than that... Amazing food, humble hospitality, at good prices. Without a doubt, I would recommend and like to try more of their menu!
Wow, Taj Cafe blew me away! Seriously, those paneer pakoras were like little bites of heaven - crispy outside, melt-in-your-mouth inside, and oh, that flavor! And the aloo ghobi? Spice levels were spot-on, just enough to make my taste buds dance but not too much to send me running for water. And don't even get me started on the naan bread – soft, warm, and the perfect partner to every dish. Cozy vibes, great service – can't wait to go back!
The flavor was amazing!!! I got it spicy and loved it. I didn't realize how filling the paneer Tikka would be and would have just ordered that. But, I powered through it and ate the lamb korma as well ????
Deliciously stuffed! My husband brought me here for date night and I’m so pleased he did! From the inviting tea as we sat down to the savory chicken masala, we were both so pleased by every morsel. Great service and generous portions! Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.
Also, if you like spicy I recommended the medium spice level, we weren’t as adventurous to try spicy, which I think was best as medium was a bit more spice than were used to.
