Best WLM Reviews
Great location, our server was very nice and helpful, but most of the food was not good. Gumbo lacked flavor. Shrimp Po Boy, the shrimp was okay flavor but the bun was super dry. Captains Platter had zero seasoning, just your basic plate of fried food, so not worth the cost. The boneless wings in sweet Thai had good flavor and just enough heat.
Service was excellent, food was great, and the view was of all the boating activities. This is a family friendly spot with a kids menu. Large groups may struggle to eat together outside, but the seating is all pretty close together. We went for a late lunch, and there wasn't a wait. Food came out quickly.
Stopped in for a happy hour drink (or two) and happy hour dinner specials. All were excellent. Plus, live music with an appreciative group of happy hour regulars made for an enjoyable afternoon. This is a KC Chiefs bar, for those who are fans of this team
Visited this place over a year ago, and it was pretty good. It felt like a good Florida restaurant and their food tasted pretty good. The menu was kind of pricey, but I do understand since it’s literally on the beach. I would recommend this restaurant, but you need to find some got parking arrangements before you come here. It took us an hour to get a parking spot and we had to end up parking at the gas station across the street after asking the station owner.
Tailfins is not just a restaurant sports bar on the harbor; it's a destination. Great food, attentive wait staff, great atmosphere and a television for every vantage point. It's also a Go To for Kansas City Chief's fans.
Excellent seafood- peel and eat shrimp was excellent. The Grouper fish and chips were very good. The musician was fun to listen to - he played our kind of music - 70s stuff.
Amazing place right off the dock. We went there after our pontoon day trip and love the ambience. Food wS tasty and def overpriced for the portions but we expected that.
However being right by the ocean I wish they would of had more baked oyster selections. Also for the prices you're paying it was disappointing to see the beer poured into a clear solo cup. Being a destination location ppl love taking pictures of everything and this did not lend to that.
Server also was not very aware of her surroundings or coursing. We had to ask for silverware and water. We barely saw her.
First time eating last week while my family was on Vacation. Walking up to the door there was a extremely nice gentleman that told us to head on in. After leaving we seen him sitting out in parking lot as if he was directing traffic and parking. Super nice man ! We went around 1 pm on 4th of July. Got a table soon as we walked in. Great atmosphere. Nice waiters and staff. We loved our visit.
