Restored old 1940s cabin.
We love the Taffletown Lodge. We’ve been going here for nearly 20 years, including my father in law who first went here with his dad in the 50s.
It’s changed hands over the years, but you can see and appreciate all the love given by the new owners. I’m so glad to see the Lodge back making people smile with great food and a super cool atmosphere. Highly recommend, and their brisket Rueben is seriously the best sandwich I’ve ever had.
When my husband and I walked in, the owner greeted us by welcoming us and introducing himself. WHO does that anymore? We LOVED it! Thank you, Dean!
Not only did we feel welcomed, but the food and service were phenomenal. If you are not in a hurry and want to feel like you are at your favorite friends/family members home to enjoy a good meal, please go, you won't be disappointed.
Did not get a chance to eat but beverages were perfect. Carol was a delight and Rene’s collection of finery are exceptionally applied for a warm and comfortable environment. We will be back ASAP
DO NOT miss out on this absolute gem!! If you’re in the area, take the trip out to Taffletown! You couldn’t ask for a more welcoming or genuine pair of hosts than Dean and Rene. What they’ve done to this place is incredible, and their delicious, home cooked menu has no bad choices. I can’t wait to come back. Keep up the great work!
Great food and drinks! Love the cabin in the woods atmosphere. Cool custom designed shirts and hoodies and hats. Michigan made products!
TaffelTown Lodge was such an amazing place to dine! The old style feel made me feel like i stepped back in time! But more importantly i would definitely have to say that the food i ordered (a cheeseburger and fries) was literally hands down the very best that i have ever eatin in my entire life!! Bar none!! And the man who i believe was the owner of the establishment was extremely friendly and very accommodating with our entire group of patrons! They servered us all food that was next level great! So to anyone who is on the fence about stopping in...DO IT!!!!! You will surely not be disappointed by any means in my opinion!! A definite 10/10 rating for me for sure!!
Stopped on our bike trip north...the Ruben my husband had was delish ????...had the pannini ...Portobello. spinach and cheese...but it did not seem to be pannini grilled...not sure if they ran out of bread...but seemed to be on a white and no grill?? Mac and cheese was delicious! Service was wonderful! We will be back!
