Food tasted old. My friend and me were finishing our meal after sitting for 10 minutes and the guy comes to tell us we have to leave the lobby is now closed. Thought this location didn’t close the lobby like this and telling customers they Have to leave?? We got in at 540pm.
Twice I have walked here at 11am (while getting work done at the shop up the street) and both times the manager has opened the dining room to allow me to order and kill some time eating. Everyone has always be polite, courteous and attentive. I wish more places had great service and friendly service like Taco Time (looking at you Sandy Taco Bell)
Anyway, great team and hot food with a smile ????
5/5????
Ordered the big Juan burrito tonight. I paid over $13 for a featured burrito combo and the ENTIRE thing was BEANS. Huge burrito just beans. Seriously? It was supposed to have onions and peppers, beef, sour cream and cheese and rice. Barely any rice was in it.
Who made this burrito, and thought, yeah just slap some slop beans in there and call it good. Eat here if you want jail food for an arm and a leg. They don’t care what they serve you. The pictures show halfway through the burrito, the continuous bean factory. Thanks taco time. ????
Do not recommend going here. Had to wait in line just to order while three of the employees were busy talking with each other. On top of that the food tated old.
Haven't eaten at a location in several years so I thought I'd try it again. I felt it was expensive for what I ordered. Also the quality of what I got wasn't very good. The service was good, very friendly and didn't forget the condiments or napkins.
Eat here if you want to experience what it would be like if taco bell was even more expensive than it already is. Also apparently they recently decided they charge .55 cents for dipping sauce for their "mexifries" (tater tots). 12 dollars for some gas station food with no dipping sauce. Do yourself a favor, head 2 minutes northwest on the 26 and go to taco bell instead, or better yet, grab a 10 dollar burrito at the Mexican food cart next door, which will be made of high quality ingredients and actually fill you up.
Consistency... Been coming here for 20+ years and their hard shell tacos are just as good as they've always been! ????????????????

And THIS is why you should always take a second chance on businesses. Sometimes they change dramatically, and that is the case with the Sandy Taco Time.
From bitter & rude to friendly and joking!
The dining room is now open!
Every employee was courteous and professional.
I believe it was the owner (or at least the GM) came out from behind the counter while 3 of us were waiting for our orders and talked with us and told jokes. What a change from being scolded. I didn't see any of the old employees that were here before.
The food was great, although it was very good last time too.
Give Peace a Chance! Well, at least give Taco Time a chance. They did a great job of turning it around. Congratulations!
If you like the idea of spending your hard-earned money for limited service, getting yelled at by 2 bitter women, and being denied customer use of the restroom, the Sandy Taco Time is for you!
The signs on the door say “Drive Through Only.”The signs on the bathrooms on the exterior of the building say “Get key from inside.” Simple enough. While my wife and daughter were waiting in the drive-through line I jumped out to go inside and get the key. I opened the door and walked in to ask for the key. I was immediately admonished by the help yelling at me that the dining room was closed. Yes I explained, my family was in line waiting for our order and I just needed the key to the restroom. This was interrupted by more raving about how I got in there, and how she locked that door this morning! I explained again that I was a paying customer just needing to use the bathroom. “The bathrooms are only for employees! I was told in a blunt manner. I sarcastically thanked them for their hospitality and walked toward the exit. The one woman who must have been the manager followed me closely repeatedly asking how I got in there. I stopped and pointed at the “Pull” sticker on the door and explained that I saw that, then pulled on the handle.
A little kindness and common courtesy would go a long way in this place. Not to mention using some common sense. I’m a 59 year old man, not some punk or a doper for heck sakes. Just let me use the bathroom while I shell out $37. Places like this want to keep charging more, but providing less service. It doesn’t work that way. There are too many options in your business space, and we’ll be choosing one of those on our next (frequent) trip through town.
I will say that the food was above average however.
