Best WLM Reviews

Great place for food at a decent price. Service and attitude for the staff of very good, but they are understaffed. My food took a little longer than normal and the cashier realized this and gave me a free drink while I waited (really great customer service). They are open to 8PM for the sitdown portion of the restaurant, but open to 2AM for pickup across the parking lot. I will visit here again and try additional items.
Had birria ramen and some taco dinner and wasn’t as good as the tik tokers bloggers said it was just hyped it up for nothing. Ramen taste like some maruchan and small tacos. The waitress looked lost
The reviews are mixed here but it was super good late night food. The hot dog they make was delicious and they don’t skimp out on the cheese and fries. The Al pastor tacos were flavorful and the salsa they have are spicy and good.
TacoSur Birrieria Tijuanense is a culinary gem that dazzles not only with its vibrant decor but also with its tantalizing flavors. From the moment you step inside, you're transported into a world inspired by the iconic Clase Azul tequila bottle, with walls adorned in the signature blue and white tile reminiscent of the bottle's design. As we were sitting down, My eyes were immediately drawn to the mesmerizing sight of the trompo spinning in the kitchen, promising a feast of flavors to come. Without hesitation, I ordered the Adobada Trio, eager to indulge in the tantalizing flavors that awaited me. The trio consisted of three perfectly crafted tacos de trompo, bursting with flavor and adorned with all the traditional toppings.  As a self-proclaimed taco enthusiast, I couldn't resist diving straight into this tantalizing dish. With each bite of the tacos, I found myself lost in a whirlwind of taste sensations. The creamy avocado, the succulent pieces of pineapple, and the savory meat combined to create a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. However, what truly elevated the experience was the green salsa. It served as the perfect accompaniment, adding a delightful kick that enhanced every aspect of the dish. It was as if each component of the trio harmonized together in a perfect culinary composition, leaving me speechless with every bite. I found myself transported to the streets of Tijuana, savoring the authentic flavors of Mexico in each mouthful. The tender meat, the fresh ingredients, and the expertly crafted salsa came together in a symphony of taste that left me craving more. TacoSur Birrieria Tijuanense isn't just a restaurant – it's a culinary journey that will awaken your senses and leave you yearning for more. If you're a lover of Mexican cuisine or simply someone in search of an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than this hidden gem. Trust me; your taste buds will thank you.
Food was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and service was fast. Only thing I didn't like was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom area. Will definitely be back!
We were told this place had good tacos and also Ramen in their own broth that is so delicious. The Tacos were amazing and our waitress Paulina was so Attentive, Nice and remembered 4 different orders WithOut writing it down and got it all right! That's one smart young lady. The place was nice and clean and everyone was very nice. It is small and gets packed quick, but it's worth the wait.
When I'm back in Chicago, I'm definitely going back.
I stopped by their late night take out stand which is located directly behind the restaurant. I posted pics of the food and receipt. The pros: the 2 volcan I ordered were good (adobado and carne asada). Volcan is basically a toasted tortilla with meat on top, this volcan has a tortilla added on top. At $5.89 each perhaps it was a tad overpriced? The adobado aka al pastor was juicy and very flavorful. The carne asada was okay, but it was nothing memorable. They had a good amount of meat and cebolla and cilantro. The cons: $4 bottle of Mexican coke… why? 4% credit card fee? Why? According to Forbes the average credit card processing fee ranges between 1.5% and 3.5% for 2023.
This place seems like a higher end/bougie taqueria. Which I feel is a little too expensive for little village. The average median household income is $39k, which is $30k lower than the national average.
I’m sure they’ll get many peep visiting from other areas. I probably won’t be visiting them any time soon.
Honestly, hands-down with the homemade tortillas! The price was super reasonable the food was delicious too bad. This place is too far from where I live, but for sure will come back sometime.
