I've been going to tacos mi Jalisco for a while now. I've never had a problem with their food. It's always consistent and done in a timely matter. Prices are fair. I recommend the asada fries!
Food is mid and the meats need flavor. Also the girl who takes your order is hella rude, the one with the long nails. I always greet her and she doesn't acknowledge me as a customer. She never replies to a thank you or to a how are you. It is what it is, dont get me wrong tho the Birria Ramen is fire, the consume has so much flavor. They put a lotta birria in it too and the size is good, not bad for $12.
I'd honestly rather take the drive and go to Keyes! Carmelita's taco truck all day over any truck in Oakdale. The people in this town think this place is good, but if you know then you know. The picture below are the tacos at Carmelita's.
Amazing taco truck with legit mexican tacos! It's tucked away and easy to miss. What a gem, it's my go-to spot to take a break on my way to Yosemite.
Birria tacos (5 out of 5): Juicy birria in a fried tortilla with cheesy goodness. You can get a side of the consumme which is the broth that the birria has simmered in, for more juicy flavor.
Tacos favorito (5 out of 5): Absolutely amazing combo of seasoned meat in a taco. Highly recommend. Maybe my favorite.
Pollo asado (4.5 out of 5): Juicy chicken taco.
Hot cheeto fries - (2.5 out of 5) A bit underwhelming. It's just fries, cheese, carne asada, and hot cheetos slapped together. I was hoping for something like crushed hot cheetos sprinkled on top. But having just whole cheetos makes it hard to eat, certainly can't pick it up with a fork. The meat also is hard to pick up along with the fries, perhaps not enough cheese to bind it to the fries. Wish the dish was better put together.
Best Taco truck I been to in oakdale ca ???? amazing flavors an great choices to choose from very delicious. I got the shrimp fajitas and omg I am in love ❤️ thank you to the cook and friendly service. She is so nice. Bring the whole family. Despite this being a food truck (with an outdoor seating area), it’s definitely worth a trip to for the food and ambience at night. My partner and I both ordered burritos and typically, I never expect much from a food truck as they’re hit or miss. However, the birria surprised me. Whenever I’ve ordered birria in the past, it’s been greasy, dry or overcooked. This birria was not that, it was moist and flavorful. Not only that, but the overall burrito was fresh and lacked nothing. Plus biting on their grilled jalapeños and squeezing lemons into the burrito pair well. I would definitely come back again to try more of their extensive menu. They have plenty of options for everyone, from tacos, asada fries to birria ramen.
The people there are extremely hospitable. They have gone out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. The quality and quantity are both there. Prices are definitely reasonable. The atmosphere reminds me of going to the snack bar at the beach. Very very clean and the customers are extremely as friendly.
Pretty decent food and excellent service. Good flavors
Everything good but if I order by phone or online food won't be prepare until I show up. Every time.
