Hands down some of the best food on Elk Ave. Worth a visit if in the area or a resident. Variety of options but all great choices. The Korean and Carnitas options are a must! This will be a new staple for this area. Connected to the Kochevars Saloon, a historic bar with great drink options. Pair these two and you have one of the best dining options in Crested Butte.
The tacos are fabulous! They are large (bigger than a regular street taco size), completely stuffed with fabulous ingredients, and I believe, are made on home made tortillas. At least they taste homemade! The service is very helpful and super friendly. We will definitely be back!!
Best tacos I have ever had! This is a not to be missed spot if you are in Crested Butte. We are a family of 4 so we tried every taco on the menu. Instead of tasting all the same each taco was unique with amazing flavours and well thought out ingrédients combing to make these tacos Super Incredibly Delicious! The sweet potato taco was out of this world ! Priced right with lovely staff!
Excellent street-style tacos, with an over abundance of flavor. Everything is made in-house, and fresh. Tacos come to you on a plain black plate, but take on an artistic twist as the ingredients mingle into series of savory bites. Filling, and affordable for comparable restaurants. Wonderful, historic atmosphere, friendly staff, and food worth every penny makes this a stop you must make!!
Some of the most delicious tacos I have ever had. We each got 2 tacos: the Buffalo and the breakfast one, and the carnitas and sweet potato. All were super delicious and filling and prepared quickly. We are in town for the week and already planning to come back again. Also, it's one of the only places open late for food. ????
Holy wow! Small but mighty place. These tacos are beyond great. Great bang for your buck. They are loaded not only size-wise but with flavor. I’m not much of a spicy person but the Buffalo was bomb along with the sweet potato, classic, and carne. Now I have more of a reason to go back. Support local and walk your feet a little further down the road and snag 2 or 3!
$5 might seem a little steep per taco, until your food comes out - they are a decent size, and loaded with avocado, crema, and all sorts of other delicious toppings. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them, but the Korean was particularly good. Came out very quickly, staff was polite and friendly, and the place is clean.
An absolute must every time I’m in Crested Butte. The flavors are on point and everything is cooked to order! Love how fresh it is. The naked thighs are delicious as well as the tacos!
