Delicious! We ordered the Burrito La Bonita and wow! Great amount of everything. The meat is cut into good portion sizes, not all thin. The cheese toasted on the tortilla is excellent. It is $10 for a great size, I had to share it. Other foods are good too. Great prices, great quality and quantity. But always a line, which is good because you know it will be good.
After being customers for several months now we were disappointed at the service we got when we called to made a complaint. I guess because they have tons of customers they didn't care to lose one. I called and texted asking to call me when they have time no response then I received a text I explained briefly that it was better to call me because I have two complaints to make. After few hours no call or txt. I called again once it was open Jessica answer she said she was the manager or supervisor. I explain that one of my complaints was last Thursday she said today is Tuesday mmh? Okay!. I said that I didn't really wanted to get the lady in trouble and if she thought it was too late I could simply get in contact with the health department. Her answer was whatever you want to do. Okay, I moved to my next complaint that happened last night. My husband bought 12 tacos and few of them were veggie tacos (we had this tacos from there before with mix veggies and lettuce) this time we were surprised to see only lettuce and pico de gallo on them. She proceed and told me that she been at restaurants before and her food wasn't best but she still eat it all this with attitude and talking over me. Then she said that I was mistaking their food truck with someone else ( my mother in law lives near by so no I am not mistaking your food truck) she said that they never put zucchini or bell peppers on their veggie tacos that is only lettuce and pico de gallo. We had this before I know what we get on this tacos before. My toddler was around calling me mommy mommy and she yelled at me if I was busy? Because my son was bothering her not letting her talk. I told her I wasn't at that point I was disappointed, I said that I didn't believe she was the manager because a manager will listen to my complaints and find a solution to my concerns regarding the first complain and regarding the "veggie tacos" she shouldn't told me about her bad experience at the restaurant she had visit. Regarding my first complain I will get in touch with the health department but be aware that during covid-19 and be coughing inside the small food truck and removing the mask to cough is totally not acceptable!!
We were going to another popular Birria quesatacos truck for the last year, but they recently began skimping and using only 1 tortilla!
Tacos La Bonita has better flavor, bigger tacos with MORE meat, Better prices and includes Consumé and ALL the toppings!
Amazing flavor, Huge tacos, Long lines! You KNOW a Food truck is GREAT by their lines!
Can't beat this one! Best in Oxnard so far, and that says a LOT!

When I die burry me inside this taco truck, all I want for my birthday is a Barbacoa fill, skrttt skrrrt.
Everything from the tacos, salsas and even the red peppers were blasting off with flavor! My eyes were really thrown off with the orange glow making me salivate even more. The quality here for the price is hard to beat.
The caramelized onions make the tacos so good. They make the tortillas on site and everything else is made fresh daily.
Don't ask questions... Just go. It was 51° out and there was a line of at least 16 people.
We normally go to an amazing taco truck on the avenue. But they were not there. So we decided to try this place. It looked promising, and the woman who helped me, was kind. I ordered 2 asada burittos and asada fries. Oh boy 20 minutes later when we got home. It took a minute to take a couple bites. And we were done. The asada is a very cheap meat, not steak at all. It rough to eat and absolutely disgusting. It taste like chemicals.
The shredded steak, with fries were absolutely nasty. Again taste like chemicals. And just plain wrong. When i called them, the woman told me theres nothing she can do and wont. Id have to drive all the way down there to take the food back,and its up to them to decide to refund me. I would highly recommend not going here unless you want to get sick. I would've put no stars, but cant.
This place is popular. You cannot walk up hungry. It is not your regular taco spot, you are going to wait to order and get your food if you just walk up to any of their locations. 30-90 minutes hanging out with other "hangry" people could get uncomfortable, but do-able.
Call for delivery or pick up, that will be a better experience. Be thurough and detailed when ordering. When you get your order they will be thurough and may ask you to sign off on it.
As for the food, you get bang for your buck. The servings are generous, pay for extra tortillas and you can double up your tacos. The food quality is 5 star. As for taste, it will depend on you, for me, very authentic to that part of Mexico. Some of their tacos come with their own au jus for dipping, delicious. They also have torta "ahogada" (drowned) which is a regular torta dipped in a special red sauce. Enjoy
