Best tacos in Richmond- probably the best in the Bay, maybe even the state. The al pastor is roasting in front of you, while the tortillas are being fresh pressed and cooked on the flat top a few feet away. Condiments are plentiful and self serve.
Hand Made Tortillas Are Good, Loaded Potato is Good, Suadero is Very Good, Tripa is very Good. Asada is just ok, Pastor is Just Ok in my opinion.
I absolutely love this hidden gem! I never knew it would taste sooooo good! I have the Carne asada potato. Let me tell you, it's BIG! It will definitely fill you up and put you down!
The El Rulas taco truck crew has set out stations to grill meat, press hand made tortillas and assemble the plates. It’s quite the operation. There’s also parking and open air seating. On a nice day, it’s guaranteed to be a good time.
I saw just bad reviews about the place and I was close to not going. I decided to give it a try due to the hand made tortillas. I absolutely loved it. They have really good pricing, great proportions and everything tasted so good. papa loca and quesatacos are a must!
I got sucked in with the over two foor long burrito . . . Wasn't a place I'll return. Way to much rice and very little of anything else. Parking is minimal.
I went yesterday after seeing an Instagram post couple weeks back. I ordered the $20 long as an arm burritos which was supposed to be pack and full of the work especial. Once I arrive back home and begin to eat all the meat had a nasty taste there wasn’t any sour cream no guacamole. They smiled in my face while giving me the worst burrito ever. I love Mexican food so this hurt to point I had to review.
This food is hyped up too much. I went yesterday and it was okay. I had better tacos. The chicken and Al Pastor tacos are good. The steak was disgusting and also the birria tacos was nasty too. They also have this rule where it’s only 3 Salsa per order. We order for 6 people and they were say the rule was if you want more salsa you have to pay extra.
