Yum! Their veggie taco was a hongo (mushroom) taco, and I got it traditional with a combo that included guacamole, pico de gallo and chips. Also got an horchata which was perfect and so tasty, I almost got one to take back home. The salsas are spicy and delicious too. This is a good taco spot ????????
I'd walked by this little place several times, looked inside and kept going. It's nothing fancy at all. Well, you know what they say, looks can be deceiving. Today on a walk I was hungry didnt want to cook lunch when I got home. I tried it, two chicken tacos and they were quite tasty. Fresh, nice size, cilantro, onions and i got lettuce and tomato as well. The sauces were favorable also. I believe one of them was a pureed jalapeno..not sure of the other but it was good. I will definitely be back.
Ok Tacos El Pastor I see you!! Didn't even know this place was here in Hyde Park. We did a pick up and it was a lot of food. The man who gave us the food handed me one bag knowing I got a ton of food lol. Then he pulled out the other bag. It was a nice little prank. I love excellent customer service. He was so polite and happy. Tell me getting food from someone who seems like they want to be there doesn't make for a better experience! As for the food..it was AMAZING! We ordered two steak taco dinners, two burrito dinners, and some nachos w ground beef. The sauces were sooooo goooood, there was tons of hearty tender steak..nothing was dry! Although pricey ..it is worth it! You get a lot for your money and the the atmosphere was friendly and extremely welcoming. They found new regular customers! If y'all are in Hyde Park you know it is hard to find regular normal good food at a decent price. This place is it! Check it out!!
This restaurant was clean. The taco's were good. I bought steak nachos. The steak was tough and they added nacho cheese sauce. I was expecting taco cheese like most other restaurants. But I will go back for the beef tacos. Also Guacamole was delicious ????
Lived in Texas before moving to Chicago, these guys have the best Mexican food I have tried in the city. Not only are their tacos, burritos, and tortas (of all meats) authentic, but their red and green salsa are the best I've had in Chicago. The red salsa is actually spicy and the green salsa is actually creamy. The food comes fast enough and they are always playing really good music, they deserve your money. I'd rather come here than go to Pilsen.

I had a great time eating delicious and authentic Mexican food at this restaurant. The waiter was committed to great service and was very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely liked the modern cantina style. Most importantly,
the nachos and tacos I’ve ordered tasted great!
Authentic Mexican food! There salsas are so good and the orange one is actually pretty spicy (i would like the recipe!) Staff is very nice ???? Great place for a quick meal.
Found this place for our lunch after a trip to the Museum down the street. We had been planning to find a restaurant for tacos. The owner was great as well as the food we ordered. Another plus to our first visit to Chicago. Try this place people...
