I've been here quite a few times, and they are usually quick, and the food tastes good! I've only experienced 1 problem, and they fixed with no questions asked. I get the Al Pastor burrito, but I've tried other items. Always fresh, always good.
Customer service was pleasant and easy. The food was ready in a timely manner. The serving was excellent. Overall, the tacos I ordered did not disappoint. It was worth the money. I will definitely come again. Go check them out!
04/06/24: Is this food truck under new owner? New cook? New recipe? The food I got today was nowhere near to the food I had previously. They were all bland and tasteless. Even with generous sauce and lime. Did not improve it. No customer service. No receipt. I had to check my account to know what I paid for them.
I had the queso birra tacos and a Mexican coke and they were delicious, just like I used to get back home in southern Arizona. I will recommend Tacos El Gordo to everyone
I'm not a local so when I searched for quesabirria tacos, this was the first place that showed up and it was only a minute or two down the road from me.
Can't say enough how enjoyable these were and how they hit every mark of expectations I had.
I feel bad for other places around here because I highly doubt I'll be going anywhere else but here from now on.
Excellent barbacoa and quesa birria tacos! Kept going back for more of the salsa verde, and almost licked the plate when it was all gone. Quick, affordable, great parking/traffic access, and delicious food!

Great little taco truck, delicious food, lots of options, and friendly service. Don't plan to eat there, as there is no seating, but worth a visit for sure!

I was actually looking for a place to eat near The Original Scoop Dog (If you haven't had dessert there, please look it up!) and this place popped up.
I usually like food trucks, and I love authentic Latin American food. This was the best of both!
I only tried the tacos, but I tried three different kinds: quesa birria, chicken, and mixed. Each was VERY flavorful and perfectly cooked. The quesa birria in particular was just delicious!
Check out the pictures - they will make your mouth water. They smell even better than they look, and they taste even better than they smell!
Only downside was that you always have to take them to go, and there isn't much of a place to wait in the Cupids Lingerie parking lot... ????
Final verdict is that this is a place to visit again, for sure!
Best and most delicious Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. Would come here all the time if I lived in the area! Reminds me of the Mexican food back in Southern California in San Diego.
Tried the tacos and loved the lengua (beef tongue) tacos. The meat was cooked to a slight crisp and it was tender.
Also highly recommend the burrito especial, contains both beef and pork and a good amount of filling.

Cool thing is they have not raised their prices since I've been doing business With them over the last 2-3years. I understand they have less overhead than fast food. But they actually sell food that will nourish your body rather than a bunch of junk.
