Good amount of seating available. Customer service was good . The food was really good everything I tired so far was good. The birria was really good .
Recommend if if you are looking for a good taco spot . Below is pictures of what I order . Chicken tacos , asada tacos , birria tacos and al pastor tacos
Was excited to try this place since before they opened. They did not let me down! True authentic Mexican food which is hard to find in Beaumont. What sets them apart is their handmade tortillas- fresh tortillas makes all the difference for me. I bought the Birria plate & it was full of flavor. A lot of food joints don’t know how to make birria properly which leaves it dry & tasteless but not here- they made it a 10/10. The rice was also tasty & authentic. The beans were ok, nothing special but I would prefer refried beans with the plate.
Service was quick. Prices were reasonable- tacos starting at $3.33 & the Birria plate I bought was a little over $12. You get a good amount of Birria for the price. Topped it off with some green salsa which was also surprisingly tasty. Will definitely be back soon to try the other items.
Food is okay, however portion size continues to get smaller and smaller and when I asked the employee if they measure out portions for consistency he just laughed at me. For $11 it's not worth it! Also felt
uncomfortable how there is a camera directly above the POS system when inputting PIN number.
Yesterday, we tried the nachos, asada fries, and asada quesadilla. Everything was delicious! The meat was so flavorful. The cashier was also extremely nice and welcoming.
My family and I just ate here for the first time and I'm so glad we did. In my opnion its hard to find good food in the Beaumont/Banning area and this place did not dissapoint. The food is so good and the staff is very friendly!
I just left with my order and haven't even tried it yet, but I'll tell ya... you don't charge extra for the consome! That's just wrong! Especially when it's just a little baby cup of it, that's bad business. It's a numbers game, and you're playing the game wrong. Believe me, I know. Take my advice, you'll thank me later.
Edit: Whether it's posted on the menu or not, it's still ridiculous that you charge for the bi-product of the birria. I'm sure you're great business minds, and you know how to capitalize on a good thing, but you're missing the point.
Edit 2: Okay, yeah, this place is mediocre, at best. Charging $3 for their watered down consome, giving you a 7" quesodillo and calling it a 14" kasodillo, dude was fake friendly, though, with his "I'm not being biased with my personal opinion of this place", haha. He's either the owner or the owners bigger son, but either way, don't give people your opinion because that never ends well. Thanks.
It is really expensive for what it is. Almost $80 for 12 tacos, 1 burrito, and 1 Carne asada fries. The Carne asada was really good, but all of the other meats were trash. The birria was bland and colorless, the al pastor was terrible, the lengua was awful, and the chorizo was whatever. Very friendly staff, though. They can totally improve if they do an al pastor trompo. Hopefully they get better, especially with those prices.
