Best WLM Reviews
Review update- I’ve been here a few times now and there is an issue with consistency. They’ve also messed the order up twice (out of like 5 times) with that said it is still a top 5 taco truck in the East Bay. Excellent Carnitas Tacos and the Asada Burrito is rich and flavorful.
I ordered three tacos. The Birria was very tender and juicy, the Aastor was good, and the Lengua was my favorite because of the sweetness of the meat combined with the sourness of the sauce. The ceviche is great on tortilla chips.
Best taco truck hands down! Ordered tripe, cow tongue, and beef tacos! Amazing flavor! The atmosphere is not so great as the truck is next to a dive bar. I get it, people get drunk and the food craving kicks in. Will be eating here indefinitely unless food quality changes. Highly recommended this taco truck! Street parking!
First time here. Ordered 1 taco of Pastor, Cabeza, Carnitas, & Birria.
The meat was very tender, juicy, and flavorful. Had green salsa, which had a great flavor and wasn't too spicy. Lots of veggies available as well.
Service was quick and polite.
There isn't any seating area to eat there. Also parking is very scarce.
Oh, let me tell you about a little slice of heaven tucked away in the heart of Albany, California – Tacos El Autlense! Now, I'm no stranger to culinary escapades, but the Lengua Burrito here is like a love letter to your taste buds.
Picture this: a warm, golden tortilla cradling succulent, slow-cooked lengua that's been marinated in secrets only whispered among the taco gods themselves. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, a dance of textures that'll make your taste buds tango with joy. It's like a culinary adventure that takes your mouth on a whirlwind tour of flavor town.
And don't even get me started on the salsa bar – it's a veritable playground of spice and zest, a treasure trove of condiments that can elevate your burrito experience to heights previously thought impossible. Want a kick? They've got a salsa for that. Craving a tangy twist? Oh, they've got a salsa for that too. It's like a salsa rainbow, and each jar is a pot of gold waiting to be drizzled over your masterpiece.
Now, let's talk ambiance. This isn't some fancy-schmancy, pretentious joint – it's an oasis of authenticity, a humble corner where flavor takes center stage. The folks behind the counter aren't just servers; they're artists, crafting edible masterpieces with love and passion.
So, whether you're a seasoned burrito aficionado or a culinary wanderer seeking new horizons, Tacos El Autlense's Lengua Burrito is a revelation you won't want to miss. Go on, take a leap of faith and let your taste buds embark on a journey they'll thank you for. Five stars? Ha, I'd give it ten if I could!
Wow! This place is phenomenal!
We just moved to this area and we were sad to leave our favorite food truck and taco spots but this place has lifted our spirits. When I say this place is great I mean it! Whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right! We tried the torta de asada (highly recommend), asada tacos, and tripa tacos. Everything is was so flavorful. We also had their horchata which was delicious by the way. This is the kind of taco truck you just have to keep coming back to. Here’s a quote from my husband about the torta, “I was so hungry and eating the torta made me hungrier because of how good it tasted. Wow!” The ladies that work the taco truck were kind and you can tell that they care about the quality of their food. If you’re ever near this place I highly suggest you stop by and try their food. You won’t regret it.
Their tacos are just amazing. You either need to get them to go or eat at the bar next door.
delicious cheap tacos! they give you tasty pickled peppers and salsa with your order if you ask. this truck's tacos are far better than any sit-down restaurant tacos I've had, and the workers in the truck are nice people. if you're in the area you should get these tacos, you won't regret it!
the food is carry-out only though the bar next door lets you eat the tacos in there I believe.
