Best WLM Reviews

They catered a wedding this evening! Food was excellent, but the customer service lacked professionalism! It took forever for everyone to get their food! The rice and beans served with the tacos were extremely small portions! Cmon folks, we know you made $!
Just a little taco truck with standard mexican food, a couple levels better than the fast food drive thru mexican restaurants around the area. In the nachos underneath the top layer of cheese theres some yellow nacho cheese sauce which I personally enjoy, i’d probably go back for the nachos if the top layer of cheese was more melted.
California Tacos hit it out of the park! From the moment I walked in, the nostalgic atmosphere and the sound of Selena's music set the tone for a fantastic experience. Not only did I enjoy a delicious burrito, but the complimentary cup of soup from the friendly staff sealed the deal. I couldn't resist trying their chicken soup too, and both dishes were absolutely outstanding. If you're in the Central Valley and craving authentic Mexican food, California Tacos is a must-visit. They easily score a perfect 10 out of 10 in my book!
Went there with a friend who was treating me to lunch. We got three shrimp tacos and one carnitas and two chicken soups! Eat the tacos and saved the soup for later! Tacos ok but the chicken soup was horrible! They took canned veggies- veg all out the can and boiled chicken as their soup! No real chicken flavor. How hard is it to make a real chicken soup! I can’t recommend this place to anyone! I had high hopes!
My favorite plate from here is the aquachiles!!???? I know the pictures not the best; lights are nice&????
The ambiance is a lot better than most taco truck stops. The Shrimp Tacos tasted frest and were good. Unfortunately, that was about it. Ordered some Birria and Asada Tacos. The Birria tacos were burnt. The Asada Tacos lacked flavor. They got the Asada Taco order wrong, but corrected it quickly. The sauces provided (red and green) lacked any spice or flavor.
Omg I’ve never had Mexican food this bad. The carne asada burrito I ordered had what looked like fried rice in it with the toughest, chewiest beef in it. To make things worse the salsa that came with it tasted fermented. Everything was just so gross. Should’ve gone to my usual spot on Herndon and 99.
Located on Clinton and Valentine area. They have a taco truck and large seating area quardoned off for eating. It's a cute setup, gets a really good breeze even when it's over 100 degrees outside. The flags flap a lot so it can be a little noisy and getting out of the dirt field on to Clinton can be a bit tricky if you aren't a strong driver.
Ordered the Asada tacos and can't say that I was impressed. The meat lacked flavor and the tacos are extremely greasy. They put guacamole sauce, cilantro and onions. Get the guac sauce if you want any flavor at all. I asked for extra lime and offered to pay for it. They told me when they handed my food that I had enough. Well with the lack of flavor more lime would have been ideal. They were friendly enough but the Asada tacos just aren't it.
Word of caution. They didn't wear gloves while handling payments and food. I noticed one of the employees wiping sweat due to the heat (understandably so) but went right back to cooking. The cashier took lime from one of the employees then put it in my tacos. I figured I've eaten worse so didn't make a big deal of it but if you are particular about food handling then just keep in my mind it's more like home rules when they are making orders. Can't say that I'll be back but I give them a bravo for the setup and good breeze at the location they chose. The tacos are 2.50 per taco not sure if cheese is extra.
