Gone here a few times and generally had great experiences... but recently I discovered their $1 Taco Tuesdays. I know... how could I not know right? For a lunch time stop... it can't be beat. Sometimes the wait gets long, so if you can... sit at the bar. Quick service and great food... Oh, the beer is pretty good, too!
My husband and I were in town for a work trip and wanted l tacos for lunch. Start to finish, we had a weird experience. The hostess was rude and not welcoming at all. When we sat down, I asked for lemon with my water and was informed that the restaurant with a full bar did not have lemons. My husband went to the men's bathroom which was nearly pitch black and anyone sitting within eyesight of the booth could see directly into the bathroom. This was the same case for the ladies room. We were served tiny cups of bean soup at the start of our meal which was generally weird and did not taste good. The chips were unsalted, the ceviche was bland, and our street tacos were bland and dry, even though we ordered a variety of street tacos, most dripping in juice/grease! When the bill came, we noticed we were charged a total of $6.50 just to sub flour tortillas! They also charged my husband 50 cents more for his tortillas than they did me even though we both got four street tacos each. This was a weird experience, not worth the nearly $60 we paid for the meal. We are confused and disappointed and will not be coming back next time we're in town.
Dined here on Taco Tuesday before Christmas. It took a while for someone to wait on us. Then in the middle the server apparently got off and didn't tell the next server.
There was a variety of meat for the tacos with brisket being an option.
The margs were decent too.
Best skinny margarita ever! Great food! We get the tacos on lettuce wraps Mexican style with just the cilantro and onions. There’s several fillings to choose from including carnitas which I think is the best. Oddly no fajitas on the menu.
I had a really nice time here! Nico was my server and when I tell you she rocked....she was definitely on top of everything! Very friendly from the time she greeted the table till we were actually leaving! I loved it. Funny thing she attends the same college as my daughter! Nico with an attitude like that,you can and will go very far in life. Thanks for the great service. Thanks for taking care of my daughters and I. Be blessed Nico. When I return I'm definitely requesting you! ????NICO IS THE BEST!!!!
Super excited to finally try this place! Got a couple different types of tacos and a margarita flight. Our waitress was great. Right before our food came, a larger party came in with numerous kids, ages ranging probably 4-10. ALL of the kids were sat in the booth behind us, and all of the adults sat in the bar area. The children were left by themselves and proceeded to run around, jump in the booth, and scream. Parents were nowhere to be found besides the occasional “sit down and be quiet”. We did not finish our meal. We could not hear each other talk. What started out as a great experience ended horribly. So if you go here, be sure not to sit in a booth because you might get a group of unsupervised heathens sat behind you with parents that don’t GAF. ????????
Great salsa and Chile rellano! Good prices, plenty of menu items, friendly and fast service. A bit crowded and loud inside, but I did go late on a Friday night. I wanted to order white wine, but they didn't have anything but sparkling. I guess that's why they don't have "wine" in their name... ????
Food is excellent starting with the home made tortilla chips. I had a couple of street tacos with chicken that were absolutely amazing! The ceviche was wonderful the fish was fresh and the lime juice was absolutely perfect. If you get the Mexican burger be careful it is MASSIVE. Shelby was our server.. very efficient and attentive and a sweetheart. Definitely be back.
