Love love love the food. Birria tacos are always my go too and they have some of the best. I asked for more cilantro and onions and my waitress did not disappoint she knew why I meant. Everything was great. One complaint put another light in the bathroom lol too dark on there
Slidel keeps improving their downtown and it shows. Tacos and Beer is close and they have outside seating a reasonably priced food and drinks. Their margueritas come is 3 sizes. Our guest had a medium one with a splash of sangria while we shared a large 32oz version. I had the taco salad which was average and needed more spice. My wife had 2 tacos - beef and chicken, my buddy had a mexican po-boy while his wife had 3 tacos.
The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was cozy but not cramped and just overall very enjoyable atmosphere. They even had outside seating. Very nice during these fall days. Definitely try this place if you're looking.
This place is so much fun, I like the area its in, It's such a cute restaurant for this small downtown.. The food is always really good I haven't had everything on the menu but the tacos are always the same they're always really good and I love the margaritas, They mix them very well.
My new favorite place to eat in Slidell. Excellent service. Extra fresh, extra crisp tortilla chips. The house salsa is one of the best I've tasted. I don't know if it's made in house or not, but perfectly balanced and perfectly spiced. The house margarita was good too, not too syrupy. Great decor, I regret not getting more pictures, very cute hand painted unique murals. Great place to take kids, very family friendly. Fairly priced kids menu with a decent selection and decent kid friendly food.
The Birria Tacos are where it’s at! I ordered mine with flour tortillas instead of corn, I don’t like cilantro and forgot to request mine without it but the tacos were still slamming! Three comes to an order for only 10.50! The queso is nice and creamy with just enough spice to make u sniffle. The chips are perfect in my opinion they aren’t thin and flaky. Take caution coming here with your significant other, unless they are laid back, the severs are gorgeous. I found a previous comment was race baiting. They have people of all color here, all were enjoying themselves. I didn’t see a separate line for Whites, for Blacks, for Latinos, or for Asians.
Cool atmosphere. Great beer selection. The food was very good. Will return! Update, returned a few dozen times lol! One of my favorite places. We sat outside and it started raining and it was super cool! They have a good draft beer selection and the food is always great.
I go to Tacos & Beer more often than other restaurants because it's around the corner from the house. Apparently I have yet to leave a review.

Overall the T&B in Slidell is a great location. A real comfort local spot for me. The customer service is always A1. The food is consistent and the atmosphere is busy, loud, and upbeat. We always sit at the bar and bartenders never disappoint. Full of life, conversation, and smiles.
Whomever is in charge of the beer selection at this location knows what's what. I normally get the battered Baja fish tacos, which are great but after reading several comments and reviews regarding the burger.. tonight I ordered the American Burger with fries and it was absolutely delicious! Hands down one of the best burgers in Slidell. Paired it with a grape ale and that was warp. Left fat and happy ????
If you reside in Slidell or just passing through, the T&B is a safe local spot for lunch, dinner, and or date night. Swing by and stay a while you won't be disappointed.
