Great place for lunch can't go wrong with has a great menu with lots of options try the Ameca Michelada
I recently dined at Tacos Ameca #3 in Morgan Hill, and while the food was a bit on the pricier side, it was still enjoyable. The taste of the dishes was decent, and I found them satisfying overall.
I particularly appreciated their salsa bar, which was a highlight of the dining experience. The variety of salsas available was impressive, and each one had its own unique and delicious flavor. The salsa bar definitely added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal, and I found myself trying different combinations with each bite.
I tried the Regular Burrito, which came with rice, beans, salsa, onions, cilantro, and beef. The combination of ingredients worked well together, and the flavors were harmonious. It provided a hearty and filling option for a satisfying meal.
I also had the Flour Quesadilla, which consisted of a flour tortilla filled with cheese, onions, cilantro, sauce, and beef. The quesadilla was well-made, with a generous amount of filling. The blend of flavors was tasty, and the cheese added a delightful gooeyness to each bite.
While the prices were a bit higher than expected, the quality and taste of the food justified the cost. I would suggest Tacos Ameca #3 as a good option for a flavorful meal, especially if you have a hankering for a variety of delicious salsas.
The food here is absolutely delicious. The menu can be a bit overwhelming when looking at it but stick to your guns on what you like/love and you can't go wrong. All of the meats I have tried are cooked very well and seasoned to perfection. My go to here is the wet burrito with red sauce with buche and suadero. It is FIRE!!
$40 for a burrito and two tacos!, The food was straight up a**. One taco had two tortillas the other had one and we’re soaked in water. My wet burrito looked like it was covered in watered down salsa for nachos it was my first time and last time that I ever go there. Would recommend super taqueria.
I have eaten at Tacos Ameca #1 before and it was very good, but since we were in Morgan Hill and saw Tacos Ameca #3, we decided to try this location. I ordered the Wet Burrito (15.99!), my Wife had the Salad Bowl - no meat (14.99!) an order of chips (4.50!) and a fountain soda (4.49 for a medium). I ordered my burrito with no beans - it ended up having beans, the tortilla was so tough I couldn't cut it with a plastic fork and could barely cut it with a metal fork. My Wife's salad was about the size of a cereal bowl and even though we ordered it without meat - there was no discounted price and they wouldn't substitute avocado or even rice. Both tasted ok, nothing to write home about, but the total of our meal was $43.62 - without gratuity. We had to wait almost 1/2 hour to receive our food (even the chips), and the actual restaurant had all of the decor of a picnic table at a taco truck - which is exactly where I will spend my money next time.
Excellent burritos and a great selection of sauces. We had fast service and dined in.
Portions are large, especially their burritos, which you could easily share.
This is the best place for tacos in Morgan Hill. The fresh made tortillas are amazing and you get four with the teacher plate. The pastor ( marinated crispy pork cut from a rotating spit ) is worth a visit by itself. There are 11 meat choices in all. The salsa bar is well stocked. There aren't burritos here but if you need one it those you can walk around the corner to Super Taqueria.
So, my co-workers ordered me a burrito from this place. I ordered cabeza and tongue burrito. It was the most delicious and closest to the way I remember them tasting when I lived in Mexico. Just full of flavor and moist, melts like butter in your mouth. I definitely recommend. I also suggested to manager to add to Door Dash. I would order more regularly if they were listed on there!
