You're going to have a great night whenever you're at the Taconite! Great food, service, atmosphere, and an events center that's capable of hosting large weddings yet can handle small group type meetings as well.
We hosted a bridal shower at Taconite and Carrie did a great job! The bride wanted a Mamma Mia theme and Carrie created a Greek theme for the food and created two “drink of the day” for us! We will definitely be back!
Serbian Sisters held a Meet and Greet during 2023 Heritage Days on the Range. We were able to combine ethnic dishes from the Serbian Church in Duluth with food prepared by Carrie and staff in Ironton. Set up allowed mingling and access to buffet. A cool place to gather in a hot summer!
Stopped here for a quick lunch and was impressed with the quick, friendly service; the chicken salad sandwiches were great - as were the fries! Will be back!
Everything about this bar and restaurant is awesome! Great choice of foods and VERY tasty coffee. The owner was awesomely fantastic, fun and very accommodating! Looking forward to stopping here in the future!
Our first time here. Service was fantastic, except for forgetting to bring out our salads before our meal. Food was delicious, although the potato portion with our prime rib was quite small, and some sort of bread would have been nice. Atmosphere is neat. Impressive drink menu for this area. They were out of the Down East cider, but had plenty of mixed cocktails.
Pan fried walleye dripping with oil. Guess it was cooked in a pan that was not hot enough. Sirloin ordered medium to medium rare. Was RAW Cold in the middle.
