As much as I would like to give this place a higher rating, in my humble opinion, I can't. The food was decent at best for those prices. If the food would've been immaculate and out of this world I would agree with the amount paid. But there are better tacos out there with an agreeable price. Now I'm aware there are multiple locations. I have also been to the one in Manhattan, which actually tasted better than this location. I would agree with the Manhattan prices because...well, it's Manhattan. In this location you take a seat where you please and do the order yourself through your phone. Give it a 3 because, personally wouldn't return to this location
Been here twice, the first time just passing through, the tacos were so yummy I decided to come back with my wife.
I came on tuesday and apparently it was taco tuesday, I didn't even realize until after I got my bill and everything was pretty much half priced.
It makes sense because it was busy, luckily we came before the rush, we didn't wait to be seated, we arrived right around 6pm, but I can't guarantee you'll always get a seat if you arrive at that time.
When ordering it was rather slow, and they almost gave us double our order, but mistakes do happen and the staff was super friendly and that's all we can ask for.
The watermelon drink was super good, I don't drink sugary soda drinks, so having this drink fulfilled any sweetened drink I would crave for the rest of the year.
I suggest the Fish tacos, Avocado Tostadas and Birria Tacos, the shrimp ones didn't seem appropriate because it felt like it was too liquidy for a taco, I needed to eat it with a fork, it wouldn't hold up to be picked up, but still yummy.
The food at Tacomb is simply divine. The avocado tostada is a feast of flavors, with a generous amount of guacamole that's refreshing and perfectly balanced by the crispy shell base. The play of textures in your mouth is delightful, and the tangy cheese and sauce add a punch of flavor that ties it all together.
The pollo yucateco taco is another standout, featuring chicken that is grilled to perfection - flavorful and not dry. The pickled onions bring a unique taste that truly brings the dish together.
The corn esquites is a must-have. This cheesy, buttery goodness is packed with rich, smoky, sweet, and tangy flavors. The corn and citrus blend together perfectly, making it a dish you'll want to order every time.
For a sweet and savory combo, the al pastor taco does not disappoint. The sweet pineapple pairs excellently with the savory pork, and the fresh ingredients make it perfect as it is - no extra sauce needed.
The Sinaloa shrimp taco is memorable, with a tangy sauce that blends perfectly with the fresh, popping shrimp. The combination of vinegar or citrus flavors with the shrimp is simply too good to pass up.
Lastly, the seared fish taco is a great choice for seafood lovers. The fresh cod is grilled to perfection, and the great fish flavor without any fishiness is a pleasant surprise. It's great with a bit of sauce to ensure it's not too dry.
In short, Tacomb does not skimp on any of the ingredients. Every dish makes you feel like it's worth every penny. I can't wait for my next visit to Tacomb!
LOVE THIS PLACE. Ashley was my server and she is absolutely wonderful. She makes a killer spicy margharita!! I see people writing they’re expensive but hey, u get what u pay for… delicious tacos, great flavor and a good drink.. I’ll pay top dollar!

Love this place. Glad to see this place on Long Island. Great taco. Fresh taco shells which makes a taco for me. We loved the margarita and the watermelon cocktail. We got 3 different tacos, esquites and rice/beans.

Really interesting dining experience here on Long Island - I felt transported to California while having lunch with my family. The location is an experience in itself - Go for the ambiance. The food was good; but if you're looking for next level flavors... they aren't your huckleberry. Again, the food was good - just average. The drinks were delicious, I'll give them that. I'd recommend to check them out. Def get the Guac!
Chuck is the man!!. My partner saw this restaruant and thought it would be a great adventure and great restaruant it was them sinaloa shrimp tacos ???? and them corn esquites you wont be disappointed. All in all great place great food ill be back
We fell in love with Tacombi through one of their Manhattan locations, when we saw they were building a location in our neighborhood, we were in disbelief! The coolest, most unique place with delicious food and drinks.
