If you are looking for a 5 Star restaurant to take your high class clients to, this might not be the place for you. If you are looking for authentic food that you can take with you, then this is the place. Seating is limited to just a few booth type tables, but this place has been a staple for as long as I can remember. Get the pernil with rice and beans. You won't be disappointed. (I took the pic after I started eating. The presentation was much nicer. ????)
Jus19.Just so happened to be driving by, and decided to stop. There aren't many parking spots available, and maybe 2-3 tables inside. It's more of a take out spot. I ordered the Pernil Sandwich with Amarillos. Great in flavor, great in taste. Not bad for $9.99.
Every time I go I like to get a meat pie but I like them fresh out of the fryer but every time I go they pull them out of a warming tray.. I tell them I don't like it this way but they insist they are fresh when I know it's been sitting there for maybe an hour or so.. make them make fresh ones..
My fiance and I stopped here for lunch after our sons doctors appointment for the first time… my fiance got fajitas chicken, beef & pork… they were just meat and cheese rolled up into a soft shell …
I got nachos and the cheese was basically oiled cheese…
The ground beef reminded me of school taco meat…
He ordered the soft shell taco with out the beans on top and they still gave us beans on top ..
I’ve never been disappointed in any food before until today :( …
My family wanted some empanadas and this place did not disappoint! The empanadas and tacos were really tasty, and the price point for the meals definitely makes this a go-to spot!
Update: Came back and got the combo burrito with roast pork and tostones amarillo!
Soooooooooooooooooo delicious!! The ladies were super friendly. The onions are tasty!! I had tacos. I also had an enchilada. (Tacos were better) The empanada was very good too!! ????????
Passed this place driving to another restaurant and made a mental note to stop by and try...and that I did.
The woman was very nice, wish I got her name. Service was fast. Placed order at the window. It was a small place but hard to miss.
I ordered a chicken taco and 2 chicken empanadas (meat pies). The chicken was very tender and flavorful. I didn't realize the taco came with beans so that was a nice surprise. I will definitely go again if I'm in the area!!
I only got a photo of the meat pie because I ate the taco before I remembered to take a pic.
I don't know how they make such simple food so otherworldly delicious. but yeah: aaa+++ as good as it gets.. anywhere at any price ????
