This location food is not as good as it used to be. I miss the ol’ days. My taco today wasn’t even half full. Even Taco Tico is experiencing shrink-flation.
I've always had a great experience here. One of mine and my husband's favorite Mexican eats! The enchiladas are hands down the best around as well as our personal faves????. Great food, great customer service and we always leave with a full belly as well as a smile :)
I grew up eating at a taco tico on Lee Rd. In Winter Haven, Florida, so I was pretty happy to stumble upon this one in Lexington Kentucky. The building and the memorabilia were great to see again. However, the inside of the store was filthy. The floors and the walls were pretty gross. The kitchen area that could be seen from the counter was pretty bad, too. The food itself wasn't bad..
This was an interesting place...
It reminds me of a old school Taco Bell but with better food. This place is a fast food Mexican restaurant but I think the food and prices are way better than Taco Bell. I had the Taco salad which was very good. They were out of their enchilada sauce which what I really wanted - but I was not disappointed with the Taco salad though. It is worthy of a visit
It has been years since I've been to a Taco Tico for a taco burger or sancho. We saw this one on the map and had to stop. It brought back good memories.
Lobby closed around 7:30 due to lack of staff. Only two people working. Cashier was great. Portions were skimpy. Not the same taco ticonit used t be. Would not recomend.
You can't beat this place for Mexican in Lexington! Great food even better prices. I had to order half the menu because of the value. If you're a student, a family man like myself or just need something that takes the edge off your hunger this is the place. It's been around so long that even the pictures on the menu have faded but not the bold flavors in the Ultimate Beef Nochos. No sir this place will keep calling me back to Lexington from the greatest city in the world, Louisville, just to get a little taste from South of the border.
This is way better than Taco Bell. I didn’t even know this place was here, it was on the side street but I’m glad I saw it. The meat tasted better and the cheese was tastier. The service was great as well. The lady took my order, no issues at all and they wished me a great day. Great for a little quick bite.
