We have been to taco mix 3 times since we recently discovered the place, twice in one week! We loved it that much! I love that this is a multigenerational owned and operated restaurant. The first time we went in, the abuela was sitting in the corner, the mom was running the show and the son was in the kitchen! You do not go for the environment, you go for the owners and the food. Oh the food!!! She has a little bit of everything. We got beef tacos, the fried steak plate (so huge), the tostada, and the Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was the best I’ve ever had, hands down! The tacos are my absolute favorite Tex mex taco in this area now. Every time we go to Bonita beach, we just pray they’re open! Love love love!
Had sopes, hard tacos, and wings... Sopes was good.. Probably 4 stars, wings were overcooked 3 stars, hard tacos 3 stars... Seems to be a quaint little place and I heard food was really good.... I've definitely had better... Good location for us so gave them a try. Was not busy at all late in the afternoon, plenty of parking too. 6 wings, one sopes and 2 hard tacos was 27 bucks... OK I guess for the beach area. I would maybe try something else next time try something else since a lot of reviews are good.
Wow can I say you guys make the best fish sandwiches in the area!
I’m really impressed with the quality of food they are making. From flavors to freshness and not to mention prices it’s awesome. I ordered fish sandwich, side of rice and beans plus egg and cheese taco and butter bread my total was $20! honestly if you are on a budget and your ordering for your kids who are picky as hell this place is a win! my kid ate the entire fish sandwich and he LOVED it. I ended up ordering another one for myself.
They also have $2 taco Tuesday! Order any taco and pay only $2 for fresh flavorful taco.
Their staff is just amazing wonderful people. I think it’s owned and run by a family whatever it is you can tell they are good people making great food! It’s not a fancy place but it’s clean. I highly recommend this place. Go here if you are in the area.

Taco Mix is a great place, offering the best of Cuban and Mexican foods. My husband and I have eaten there many times, I usually get their Cuban Sandwich, loaded with beautiful mojo pork, I usually say I am only going to eat half, aand save the rest for lunch the next day, but it is so delicious I eat the whole sandwich! My husband likes the Pan con Tortilla, which is Cuban bread split open, spread with mustard and mayonnaise, an omelette (my husband gets chorizo and onions in it), and cheese. Then it's pressed in the sandwich press and toasted. Served with their own hot sauce, it is perfection! We love Taco Mix, and when they are closed, we are so sad!
I enjoyed the rustic, homey, and authentic feel to this quaint kitchen/restaurant. The service was friendly and quick and the food was definitely handmade and authentic Mexican.
I LOVE Mexican food and I enjoy finding new restaurants to try. I loved my experience here.

When we lived here this was our go to place,, n when we come back it still is our go to place, absolutely love this place, the nice lady is still there sweet as ever, everything is awesome,, can wait to come back to Florida just to stop in,, thank you guys for keeping it real, I hope you guys continue forever!!! I love this restaurant. Have great choices and affordable price. I only have one complaint. The wrapping paper is too thin. I could feel the oil sticking on my finger without touching the tacos directly.
