Best WLM Reviews

If you ever find yourself in Lamar, be sure to stop by Taco John's for a delicious meal that won't break the bank. Despite its remote location, this fast food joint is a hidden gem that's definitely worth a visit.
As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by friendly staff who are always ready to take your order and answer any questions you might have. The menu is filled with classic Mexican dishes that are sure to satisfy any cravings you may have.
One of the standout dishes on the menu is the Potato Olés, which are crispy tater tots topped with signature seasoning and served with a side of cheese sauce. They're addictive and just the right amount of spicy.
The tacos are another must-try. They come in a variety of flavors and can be customized to your liking with different meats, toppings, and sauces. The shells are crispy and the portions are generous, making it a great value for the price.
Overall, Taco John's in Lamar is a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal. The food is always fresh, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out!
If I could give a 0 star I absolutely would. Ordered food and neither of the burritos were correct and the kids quesdillia was hard as a rock. The inside was disgusting. The highchair was either sticky or left full of food. The restaurant also smelled moist. The guy at the register claimed they cleaned all day yesterday. Hard to believe. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Excellent experience all around!
I hadn't eaten at taco John's for years, but decided to give it another try once I heard about the new management, and I was very pleased!
You can tell that Kati has poured her heart in to this place and is really turning things around!! My food has been delicious both times, and the staff members I worked with were SO friendly!
I have lived in Lamar most of my life and have seen a few different managers run this place. Katie and her staff do amazing, she has turned it around. Her staff are very polite and professional. Not to mention the food is great also. She knows what I can and can’t have. Which makes you know she learn her customers and values them. Keep up the great work team. See you soon.
We went out of our way to stop here in Lamar becouse we don't have a TJ in our town, helpful hint, go through the drive-thru, if you go inside you will not receive service. We watched car after car get waited on as we just walked out the door.
Food was ok. Took forever to get our order. I wanted ice tea but they were out. The cashier said she would check how long it would take to make some and get back to me. She never did. The cashier with red streaks in her hair couldn't have cared less about taking care of folks.
I see a manager who’s trying her best to find good help and that’s very far in between and you can’t control how others act when you are not there. She is trying her best to pull the business up from the ground and start over. Food has been great and if something wasn’t just right Katie fixed it for us. I see a manager busting but to change and a trying crew.
I live 6 hours from the nearest Taco John's; unfortunately, Lamar, CO is my closest location. I'm through here often and the problem is likely management or lack there of. It's super inconsistent especially with their products. I generally choose to just leave this place OFF my review list, until today. We arrived at 10:15 AM and it was about 10:20 AM when we were waited on. I asked if I could get lunch. The counter lady played dumb and asked the guy behind. He was instantly irritated and passive aggressively stated that he didn't have his lunch set up done. I asked how long he said 30 to 45 minutes. The door and online profile clearly state breakfast ends at 10:30 AM? Had he said 15 minutes that would have been one thing but up to 45 minutes? So, do they close from 10:30AM until 11:15AM, or later? Makes no sense. If you don't want to accommodate people than you're likely in the wrong business!?
