Great, delicious food. Great customer service by Alijah. He is definitely made for customer service. I said something confusing when ordering, and then he said that it was his fault after resolving the problem. After he was done taking our order and everyone else's, he was restocking and cleaning the lobby. Great job, dude.
This was my first time trying Taco John’s, and I was happy with my experience. I ordered the Mango Shrimp Street Taco combo (limited time combo). The tacos were very good; decent amount of crispy shrimp, delicious chunky mango pico de gallo, fresh crispy lettuce, and chimichurri sour cream. I was impressed at the quality of the tacos.
Service was quick and friendly. I was in, and out, in about six minutes. The restaurant was also very clean and well kept.
This Taco John's is super clean and well organized. They run a tight ship, and therefore, the staff is friendly and quick. During my visit, almost all of the business was drive thru. I had the dining room to myself and there was also a lovely outdoor dining area in the parking area which was vacant. That might be helpful if you are traveling with a dog. I always get the stuffed grilled taco. It is a sizable hard shell taco filled with meat, nacho cheese, and sour cream wrapped in a flour tortilla and grilled in a press. It's just wrong. But, it the best possible way. I also get the beefy burrito which has raw onions in it. Let's not forget the hot and crispy potato oles unique to this chain. Admittedly, these are Americanized, Tex-Mex, items, but they are well executed and so satisfying. That's unlike the often upsetting fare found at the biggest taco chain. What's more, John's does have some street taco and other semi authentic options available. You know, some say, real tacos are covered in cheese... This chessey badger don't care! I'm from Wisconsin, hey.
I am extremely disappointed in customer service. My girlfriend placed an order for DoorDash, and we realize that the order was wrong, which was on us, but then when we tried to call to see if they can fix it Quick The first time I tried calling took me four times before someone finally answered the phone and they said that they didn’t have the order so I called a different location thinking that maybe we ordered from the wrong location they didn’t have it so and then the DoorDash was at the location that we placed the order so I called them back to see if they had the order they said they did not have the order And had an attitude with me about it then we get a notification that the DoorDash driver picked up the order. I am very unimpressed with how this location runs. if I can give it a zero I would
I really don't understand the negative reviews I've seen.
I've literally been coming to this Taco John's my whole life and I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. The staff and management are amazing, nice, friendly people. The quality of the food is always excellent. Everything is always crisp and fresh. I don't ever feel like I'm being scammed with understuffed burritos.
Honestly! Just look at the size of that Double Cheese Chicken Boss Burrito next to the bag!! It's huge! Lol
Their drive through is great. Even if there's a big line they keep it moving and you won't be there long.
I felt compelled to write this glowing review because there is another Taco Johns closer to my home that I tried going to a few times and each time was unrealistically terrible. One of the employees even called me a dog out of absolutely nowhere. o.o I'm not sure what's wrong with that place but I'll happily drive a city over whenever I need to get my ole fix. Lol
Thank you to the employees of this establishment. I've worked fast food before and the people in this profession don't get nearly enough credit.

I wish I had a Taco John's closer to my home in Fox Crossing, but I'll keep driving to Richmond St. in Appleton to get my fix, their food is great as well as the service, and the food looks like the pictures. Taco Bell is NOT an option.
We've loved our Taco John's since the late 1970s. It's always been a family owned restaurant (We enjoyed watching their girls grow up & now one of the girls runs it, and we see her sons working there). The family is awesome! Great service, and we love the food.
Always the friendliest staff and excellent food. 12/10 Location!!
