Very much a true locals hangout with a cozy bar area and video lottery. Outdoor karaoke every other Thursday, and sometimes live music playing outside in the back (on weekend evenings in the Summer-time). Good food and friendly service. A good place and kid friendly in the dining and outdoor areas.
Waited at the counter for someone to take our order for 5 minutes, nobody greeted us or told us to place our own orders. So we used the kiosk to place our order, which wasn’t difficult. It just would have been nice to have a sign telling us this is how orders were to be placed. Food was packaged well and quality was good. The items were full, not skimpy.
Putting this out as a warning to anyone on their lunch break. 1. Go to the drive thru, it’s the #1 priority for them. 2. If you go inside Pay with card at the self service, if not you’ll be like me (payed cash) and wait 20 min while everyone who payed card skipped in front of me. Overall would not recommend this location to any trade workers looking for a quick bite.
Didn't have black beans yet the app took my money. Never received a refund after complaining to the store and in app. Avoid the app use at this one cause they don't update their inventory.
Foods great, don't get me wrong but, the higher ups treat the employees very in humane, and seem very sexist upon who works there, the staff there try their best, I'd say there not paid enough for their services, and the way there treated. Nobody wants to work isn't the case, it's more of people like to be treated like human beings, and appreciated. Not treated like service dogs.
I also worked there for some time but i got tired of there discrimination, and being underappreciated was enough for me.
I don’t often review fast food places but I think this one deserves a mention. Anytime I am on a road trip passing by Hood River, this is a place I stop. Quick, friendly, and fresh. I’ll typically get the Crunchwrap Supreme (sub Chicken), extra hot sauce, when they have it - nacho cheese fries, and a nice cold Pepsi. It gives me the extra push to make the final leg of my journey.
This was my first visit. They forgot a Chalupa that was part of the craving box. As I complained about it another person from the drive through walked in and also reported he was missing an item on his order. A couple standing next to me told me that they were regulars and that this issues happen frequently.
The staff had a non chalant attitude about it.
The food was good. It was hot, fresh and somehow they doubled my order so Ingot two of everything which was nice since I would be driving for 9.5 hours… but it’s Taco Bell and the taste is somewhat lacking. I enjoy it, but I don’t LOVE it.
The rest of the experience was very positive. A very clean store, fast and friendly service and everyone I saw come out seemed to be happy with their purchase.
