I can't even sugar-coat it, this place sucks anymore. If I could give no stars I would. I use to go to this place all the time as a kid (which wasn't that long ago). And the cheese roll ups were just my favorite thing from day one. Simply melted cheese in a tortilla. Well apparently melting the cheese is just so hard to do anymore, and now I'm just eating cheese right from the bag with some tortilla. Thanks, so happy. This is the third time now. Are you kidding me?! And then I called and the women who answered was not helpful. Just sounded irritated that I said something. Not going to this location anymore.
This place was absolutely ridiculous. We waited 40 minutes from ordering at the drive thru to getting our food. The man taking payment claimed they were super short staff, then proceeded to stand there and do nothing after giving our card back. We got up to the front window, where the lady told us someone paid for our meal, yet we paid at the first window??? Made zero sense. Then, we got our bag of food after sitting there for 5 minutes. Supposed to be 4 items, was only 3. She got me my last taco, and as we drove away, every single item was incorrect. Grilled cheese burrito that was supposed to be beef, which I specified, was steak. Our tacos had lettuce when we asked for none, and the Crunchwrap had tomatoes. I didn't realize you could mess up an order that badly without trying. Considered going back but the workers weren't competent enough to even process what was happening. ABSOLUTELY NOT, DO NOT WASTE UR TIME AT THIS LOCATION!!!!
So... Mixed feelings...
First... Hopefully was just a fluke. My kid Found a fly in her taco... Just YUCK. Thank goodness she checks her food religiously before she eats it. Pointing to fly in picture. Too far away to turn back to replace it.
On a different note. Prices went up a TON. What used to cost us about $12 now cost us almost $20... Two people eating at Taco Bell should not cost that much... Was our go to for going out, but if it's going to cost $40 for 4 of us next time, we might have to pass, especially after that fly. My kid decided the rest of her food was not edible. Not sure she'll be willing to eat here again any time soon.
On a good note... The amount of ingredients went up. What sometimes we would get was a third full taco was actually full this time, mostly with lettuce, but at least they weren't empty. So that's positive, most of the places out there are going down in portions even when raising prices. Rest of the food was fine. But the chips and cinnamon twists were dumped out on the bottom of the bag, interesting flavor having chips with cinnamon sugar and then cheese dip...
Worst meal we've ever had. Ordered the cantina chicken bowl with extra pico and chicken and no guacamole. What did I get...a bowl with no extra pico, guac and for some reason no beans which is supposed to come in it and for some reason didn't come either. Also ordered cantina chicken burrito. Both items were basically stone cold. Only kids working at 8 pm so complaining would fall on deaf ears
Ordered 3 soft shell tacos NO lettuce yet all 3 tacos had lettuce on them. We do not live in the area and when we called about it, all the dude would say is if you come back we will remake them for you. I'm not driving 2 hours just for 3 tacos when in reality my daughter didn't get to eat her lunch nor would that send a gift card for their mistake.
If you like going through the drive through to have stuff missing so then you're waiting 2 times for food, then this is the spot. If not, find somewhere else to eat.
Stopped to get some tacos because I find that as a Mexican the food here is a whole lot better than in some of the so call authentic Mexican restaurants, at least here you will not be surprised the flavor is always the same.
NOTE, it seems that they spend more time taking care of the drive thru lane than the customers dining in "not good"
Wish they'd bring back beef quesadillas, but they still make them at a higher cost. Whether they're good or not can be a hit or miss. Sometimes they just plop the beef in the same spot rather than spreading it out. I've had a few times where they overcooked it or didn't cut the quesadillas, but overall they are generally fairly consistent.
Prices have certainly gone up over time. I remember when they used to have $0.89 tacos. The drive thru is quick. Staff doesn't really talk much, but this is pretty much the norm in drive thrus lately.
