I used to shop at the location frequently for human hair wigs but their hair quality has come into question since 2022, this wig’s quality is horrible and it’s nothing but matting and shedding. Their prices are ridiculously increasing for subpar and substandard low quality hair. They just sold me a supposedly 100% virgin Rémy deep wave 24 inch lace front wig on 03/15/2023 and all I did was detangle with the products I use on all my human hair wigs (I have stage 2 lymphoma) and tried to wash it on 04/2/2023 and it’s matted and tangled all over the place! It will not loosen even with the best conditioners on the market might I add! I will NEVER be impatient and buy any wig over $300 from them again. I know now to stick to my normal online hair supplier and wait for shipping so that I can have a true virgin Rémy wig that wig last more than a few weeks like the wig they sold me at STAR BEAUTY SUPPLY! My other wigs have lasted up to two years with proper installation and maintenance but no not this wig, it was cute on the mannequin but you better not add product or water because it’s over with. This wig cannot be fully human hair!

Stop lining the pockets of those who don't want you. I've experienced the same treatment as many others, being followed by "associates". If you look, there are other options in Monroe where you'll be treated with respect.

Running from Hurricane Florence, I forgot my gel. The two owners were so helpful and nice. One went to their back stash of supplies and found the braiding hair color I wanted. We immediately connected after They shared that They are wives of two retired, Army service members. And they had everything I needed.

They greet you at the door with hand sanitizer, which was cool!!!!! Although they are friendly, I felt like I was followed majority of the time. I did end up spending over $150 and they gave me something free from my purchase, which made up for it. All in all, They have nice stuff, but its a lot and very crowded.

I like going here. If I need anything I'll go here first if they don't have then you have to drive to Charlotte

I love the new interior renovation of the store! The aisles are wider and less cramped, and products can be found with such ease. The only thing missing is Renee....she was the sweetest, and most helpful employee and knew which products were needed for particular hair styles and extensions.

Organized, clean, friendly staff and accommodating! I arrived 2 minutes after closing and they allowed me to shop for needed supplies! Thanks Star Beauty!

I like the new store design, the aisles are much larger. I do not like that they cater to a certain type of ethnicity. I do not wear nor do I want to wear purple, orange, yellow or blue hair. Please consider purchasing more normal/natural looking colors for hair extension options (1/1b/2). Thank you.
