3.5 for weightlifting, it has most of the basic equipment needed to get a decent lift in, but lacks many things and there is only one of most things, pretty clean as well
I am unable to give a thorough review, as I was denied access to the facility by the staff. Wednesday morning at 8am, I tried entering the gym but the door is locked, I see a sign that says 24/7 access only. Now, I understand when this happens, the issue that I have is that there were two staff members that were standing in the lobby. I point at the sign and put my arms up as a gesture of confusion. They open the door and say "sorry sir, we are closed for training today and it is 24 access only." I explained to them that I flew in late last night and am leaving within the next few hours, not stationed here, and kindly asked if they would allow me access just for the morning, to which they replied "No, absolutely not." Isnt Force Support supposed to support the force? What happened to chivalry and simple empathy. Mind you, I had already taken my pre-workout and walked half a mile from the base hotel. Again, I understand days where it is 24 access only, but the fact alone they were there and still denied me access is mind-blowing. Yes, I understand they're doing they're jobs and not procedurely wrong, but when it comes down to basic human understanding, I am incredibly disappointed in this facility and staff. Thank you, FSS, for always meeting my expectations.

This is an ok gym. It isn’t quite large enough to support the base population, nor do they have a significant spread of equipment, but it is clean and they have pretty high standards amongst the employees.
All I need for a great workout.
Issue the weight room is to small and the early morning and afternoon hours around 1600 are very difficult to get an efficient work out. Plus the areas are well kept very clean. Staff in the gym very friendly and helpful.
Not enough free weights, tons of wasted space. At any point during the day there are dozens of unused cardio machines. Gigantic lobby area only for hte purpose of looking pretty. It gets the job done but whoever designed this new fitness center wasn't thinking straight.
