Love it, wish there were more ruins to explore but definitely worth the look. Been wanting to visit along time after reading the history of the asylum.
Nice place to walk around, with a very interesting history. Dogs are allowed and the kids had fun exploring the grounds.
A nice place for a walk around and to experience some historical remains. Disappointing that there is very little signage at the entrance about what's there. For example, I stumbled across the Janet Frame plaque by accident, and if I hadn't known about I would have missed it!
Nice grounds fr picnic ect but no old buildings to see.
All behind high fence and trees
Would I go again. No
Peaceful healing gardens and surrounds. Dog friendly too ????????????????
Great place for a picnic. Love Janet Frames Magnolia.
The building no longer exists but one can walk around and have a quiet picnic or read in the bush.
Great local history for Dunedin, amazing grounds to have a walk about and some interesting plaques to read about Seacliff Asylum. A hidden treasure for sure and would have been both amazing and terrifying in its day.
Awesome fresh walk around, Lovely Area
