Lack of service from time to time was very annoying. If you choose to sit in the bar it should be quite obvious that you want a drink? One bartender didn't even bother to look at us.
Sometimes there is too long waiting time before we can order food, more drinks or pay the bill. Some of the staff are doing very well.
If breakfast opens at 0630 you expect everything to be ready, including bread. Bacon and other items came out 0645, not ideal when we have to eat and leave early in the morning.
Food was great. Ok variety of Belgian beers as well. Outdoor seating is great and huge.
Living abroad but coming from the region and having only good memories of this restaurant, I wanted to return for nostalgia's sake. What a mistake. Yes, mistakes can be made, we had shrimp croquettes as a starter, when 1 minute later all the main menus arrive, you have to make it clear to the owner that this is not going well, so he left with the main course. But when they do push you 7 minutes later, you quickly gobble everything down and say that anything is allowed. If you have everything in a warm-up mode, it is not surprising that the deer crown was completely dried out. And when a 12 year old son only eats 30% of his steak, you know something is wrong. He asked and he said it was a shoe sole. Absolutely inedible. Fortunately, my foreign guest was not picky and said his salmon was edible. My 7-year-old child's spaghetti, well, he's not complaining, but as an adult I saw the meat from the bolognaise lying on the plate like dried vomit. My guest, who even works in catering, asked me if it was normal that the restaurant was full of student workers because apparently no one has any idea what they are doing. During our main courses they arrived a second time with shrimp croquettes, which were again a blast. But I had a bad meal and had to pay 154 euros, 'without apologies or a discount or a coffee, I was not with my guest. I had only paid for the drinks.
Excellent food and serving. Top quality. My first time in Belgium and I must say that I am impressed. Bedankt! ????
Very nice food even when I only had a set menu. Service was fast and kind, without unnecessary chat and very efficient.
Soup was very well spiced and served with fresh bread rolls. Salmon tagliatelle was full of rich sauce with mushrooms. Strange combination but very tasty.
It was a very pleasant experience. I will dine there again for sure!

is 3,00Eur for 0,33L bottle of water a normal price in Belgium? Thats what I was told at the reception the other week...
reviewing just meals without drinks: its very good, never had any issues here
They forgot to served crocket and salad for my food even I asked for several times and at the end they did fully charged…
